This is your fault Activision
I just read that Activision isn't happy with the sales of destiny 2.. Gee I wonder why....everything now is a cash grab.. People are tired of spending money on a game that is now in a good place with Forsaken.. The way the game is now is the way it should have been when destiny 2 first came out. Then you throw in these emotes that where earned for free and your trying to make money off of those.. If destiny fails from this point on it's going to be because you Activision.. Destiny 2 forsaken is great to me and to alot of other people.. The devs I know are shaking there heads at all this but what can they do when the boss is telling them to add this crap...F U Activision

ATVI is NOT involved in the day-to-day operations. 2). The actual article stated that ATVI is "disappointed" that Forsaken did not "re-engage" the [b]veteran playerbase[/b]. That means that Bungie failed to engage previous Destiny owners, likely because D2Y1 was such a major disappointment. Again, that is BUNGIES fault, not ATVI. ATVI expects an ROI pure and simple. They let Bungie renegotiate the original contract, which introduced Eververse. That was a Bungie idea, NOT ATVI. Stop trying to absolve Bungie of mistakes by blaming ATVI.

[/quote] You do realise that there's also a lot of people (like me) who think that Forsaken is a potentially fun game weighed down with a whole bunch of contrived "hardcore" crap and have stopped playing as a result? They took a game that wasn't perfect, but was still fun with lots of potential and turned it in to a chore. That's why the numbers are down and that's why the "hardcore" who demanded this and still seemingly believe it's all great are going to get micro transactions to make up for all the rest of us having walked. This is your fault, Bungie.

It's not just them. Day1 Players aren't happy, new players aren't , players that want to get destiny for first time aren't happy.

HELLO that is what is tanking your sales dummy. Stop going for the get rich quick schemes- which are so damn obvious to every gamer. Let Bungie do their thing and watch how it grows the money 💰. No, its Bungies fault. Look at the complaints on the forums, then read the TW@B. They are spending time on Dev streams but they cant address a few very popular issues? What people need to do is stop moaning on here where our voices go seemingly unnoticed (I know, they're listening....) and write some heartfelt, mature, and constructive letters (online or otherwise) to Activision and tell THEM why you're not happy with D2.

Bungie has been playing catch up trying to turn D2 into D1 ever since. They lost a lot of the player base and with them the flow of cash that these players were willing to "throw at the screen".

Take a moment to read it and realize everything you hate about destiny came straight from bungie, not activision. Activision gave bungie millions of dollars and extra studios to help, and only wanted a return on their investment, like any business would. Bungie decided that “making content was hard”, and couldn’t fulfill their end of the deal with Activision. They went back to Activision with a new plan, instead of creating new content, they would cut out content to resell as dlc, drip feed content to extend game life, and create the eververse in order to push in game micro transactions. These were all bungie, not Activision, ideas. Activision may be a shitty publisher, but people need to stop acting like bungie are saints.
