IMO that returning is not as bad as their random rolls are in D2. The duplicates of set gear are not fun to grind for knowing the only thing they are good for is leveling up and once you do that they become useless to grind for.

That kind of happens with everything though, there's not a huge amount of weapons and armor, so once you got it you got it more or less. there are very few perks that actually make a gun work differently, like full auto, explosive rounds, Outlaw and the like.

A random roll for a little better stability or range does not make it a different weapon. It's still the same thing. I do see what you're trying to say but it's just not enough.

No, it's not enough and I'm lost on how this company can keep handling this game the way they are. Destiny isn't unique anymore that it's being pushed out like another boring CoD game and Destiny was Never supposed to be like that. If anyone is honest with themselves there really isn't anything new about the game other then a couple events. In fact, there is less versus D1 when it comes to the incentive. IMO Bungie doesn't try to explore it's potential and see where they can go with the game.

Well, unfortunately Bungie has yet to get the true butt kicking (SALES, NOT VIOLENCE) that they need to wake up and do better by their customers. The only reason we have these micro events is because there was never enough content....ever. Now we get re-colored armor from less than a year ago (osiris crap) We have a huge update where entire lines of weapons got no new models (linear fusions). Not even reskin, in over a year now. Now its acceptable to treat OLD content as new content. Wow.
