Uh....no. The bloom is off the rose for me with the Skorn. I was playing Gambit last night and had one of the shielded ones actually run away from me BACKWARDS (and spamming his weapon) faster than I could chase after him running forwards. Why does Bungie think this kind of crap is fun or funny??
