the exotics aren't broken to fix.
your complaint is you want weapons you haven't gotten. not a single person seems to take into account that with collections you need only get something one time, so the drop rates are throttled to make it meaningful when you do get it.

Which doesnt amount to anything when you get the same gun 36 times. Gotta have a balance. Drop rate can be too high. Consequently it can also be too low. Too far in either direction kills motivation to play

the drops happen, just because it isn't the drop you wanted is another story. there is nothing in this game that you won't be able to do without the drop you wanted. just continue to play, remove over expectations of I should have this and wait for it to come.

Dude I’m going on 7 weeks weeks without a single exotic forsaken drop. I’ve cleaned the raid 10x. All characters at 600 and done all powerful chances up to this week. I think the rates need to be tweaked. The rng is worse than d1 at launch right now. In fact, it’s been 3 weeks since I even had a single exotic drop at all. Rates def need to be adjusted.

I personally would give up if I would do. Exotics didn't start dropping until I said using my ALT. Also I'm on a percent sure they going to tweak the Exotic rate just after Red Dead comes out or the other big guns for the holidays

yet others have gotten them all, you just have bad RNG. I can understand as Black Talons is the only new exotic I've gotten, and my friend who rarely plays seems to get a few every time we play together. still in all it boils down to you want it, you haven't gotten what you want, so Bungie is wrong. nah.

True, none are required. However, loot is the driving reason to play. I dropped over expectations for destiny exotics years ago. Current majority consenus appears to be it went too far in the slowdown direction. Obviously dont take it back to what it was, you are absolutely right in that too quickly obtaining everything defeats the games purpose, but a middle ground between what it was and what it is should be sought. I feel once the repeat fix is implented then the current drop rate of exotic engrams is right where it needs to be. A long grind before you see a yellow, but when it drops you get that excitement of knowing you just got something awesome and not “is this another wardcliffe coil”
