Lunas Howl is wonderfully powerful
Today I hopped into iron banner, thinking to myself "I'm at 527 light, so it will be rough but I can atleast try to get some bounties done"
13 matches later, ive averaged above a 2.51kd and been top of the leaderboard quite a bit against teams that probably averaged 20-30 light higher than me.
I was even able to win duels against guardians so much higher light that at near point blank range, my lunas was hitting 46 crit damage without magnificent howl active..
So there you have it, lunas howl is so strong that it can overcome a pretty significant light level disadvantage!
EDIT: I am GLAD lunas is as powerful as it is, otherwise it wouldnt be worth grinding for.

34 RepliesLuna’s perk should be nerfed to 3/4 shots or a kill to activate the damage increase, its ridiculous that you can activate the perk every single 1x1, redrix cant do that and so shouldnt luna, the perk should be focused on helping the next fight like desperado from redrix works, and not every x1.

2 Repliesit is very powerful. running in to it quite a lot and when it hits you it sends your aim off like sniper kick. problem is alas that I am seeing that gun everywhere in crucible now. the people who dont have it after this IB will certainly be working to get it and then once its powerful and overused there is usually only one thing thats coming next the nerf hammer.

Im glad Luna's Howl is as powerful as it is. Im sorry but all of you guys calling for a nerf down in this thread need to simmer down, there's 0 reason to nerf a gun that requires a high win rate in the harder playlist. Ive even seen some people calling for Not Forgotten to be nerfed. Just sad.

8 RepliesThis is exactly what's wrong with Destiny PvP. It hasn't changed since D1 and it isn't changing anytime soon if ever. With each expansion comes a totally broken weapon that just utterly breaks the Crucible. Sure, I understand the counter argument of anyone being able to get one, but people rely too much on crutches which is what Luna is. Same with Redrix, Ace of Spades and Bygones. Before Luna it was Vigilance Wing. Before Vigilance Wing it was Mida Multi-Tool and Better Devils etc etc... Sure any average joe can get a frag with broken weapons, but skill based players can do it with any gun. But alas, the conundrum remains and people who suck at this game are ever only going to use broken weapons.

Make more average players will hate to play PVP and by Forcing player to play PVP (Clan Bounties) will just make PVE players hate this game even more. They feel just get fed to PVP game just become target practice for those PVP High skilled players with their OP Guns. Competitive PVP game should never reward a Better gear. The reward should be limited to cosmetics only. Majorities of people in this forum are HardCore players. Tons of average players out there will be suffer with this Bungie stupidities. PS: Let me be clear here. When you play soccer...if you win you will not get special soccer shoes that make you can kick the ball harder right??? What do you get? TROPHY...!! When you win boxing competition..if you win...will you get glove that has iron in it so you can crush your opponent for the next competition season??? Nooo...you get TROPHY/MEDAL..! I guess all those that call me stupid/dumb etc...can see the point.. See...POINT..!

5 RepliesCongrats! You are winning the fights not because of skill but because you have a better gun. Now lets be real here, if you have the gun then you definitely have the skill (unless you paid someone). I have an issue with luna because I don’t have it lol, I just feel so overwhelmed whenever I have to grind for another weapon. I recently got the redrix and I’m burned out, then I find out the luna exist and its even better than redrix so I’m really salty. At least I reached fabled without effort, now I’m at the part where I gotta get 150 hand-cannon kills.

4 RepliesYou do not have to be good to get this weapon i am seeing people post that only the "skilled players" can get this weapon. This is untrue you just have to grind comp lol, the only weapon that requires you to be good is not forgotten because of the rank needed to get it.

2 RepliesSo it should be, a weapon that requires commitment and skill to grind for should reward you with power. People shouldn’t complain about this gun, when I got my Claymore I never saw anyone else with one in PvP, Lunas on the other hand, I come across them all the time. It’s an easy as -blam!- quest. Don’t say things like it’s absurdly powerful because it will get nerfed. I didn’t spend my time grinding for a weapon for it to get nerfed.
