Is there really that much overlap with the player bases?
What about those of us who dislike most open world games.
Spider-Man is probably going to be considered the better game in the genre this year anyways.

Seems like it. Black ops 4 got released and destinys pvp and pve numbers went down by 200k the day of release. They havent recovered. I think destiny is -blam!-ed, and im a long time fan. Having said that, i also moved to black ops 4.

Gamers are trivial by nature though. It’s always “oooh shiny object” then on to the next one. Never depended on others to have fun in games in the first place.
