It's been that way since Destiny 1. How long did it take Bungie to patch the Atheon cheese? It was patched by the time I even heard about it. The patch introduced errors in the raid such as getting stuck in a containment field after being teleported through time. Only the players left behind were supposed to get containment fields. Or the sword to get Crota to kneel would disappear. Or Crota would jump off the platform to chase down your teammates? These errors were never fixed. Ever.

Best example is when it's a glitch that has something to do with silver. They had one in d1 which was patched within hours, something to help player like vault space? Took them ages to acknowledge it and then we were promised "a fix after ROI launch" which never came
