Bungie is just trying to add playtime per player to give a better image of their quarterly performance. You know next week ATVI will release financial figures, and oh well, Bungie isn’t doing very well. They have to prove that they’re not in total breakdown, so giving up destiny 2 for free, and adding a lot of playtime per activity were great ways impact sentiment even if artificially.

Real world, not in your fantasy world. If you learned to read, just look up Activision and Bungie, the only reference you will find describe how Bungie has been weighing on Activision performance this year, we’re talking 10 to 20% of total price action. Now if you like numbers, let me enlighten you: - 7mln players down to barely 1.7 at max on weekends. - destiny 1 was never given up for free, neither any dlc, and certainly not during the first year. I don’t know what else you need as argument unless may be you’re 8y old without any understanding of marketing and sales practices. So let me tell you, this is called a “desperate” move. Period. Or may be you think that Bungie was happy to send this very bad message to all its playerbase? You think they chose to give destiny for free because they were doing so well that they could gift new players with it? What are your sources for being so dumb?

Actually 5 of the top 25 most popular add ons are for Destiny 2. I think Bungie is just fine.

So because you say so got it. You know D2 was the number 2 selling game last year right? Did you know that Japanese company invested a millions onto Bungie also? Forsaken was the number 3 download on PSN when it was anounced....behind Fortnite and Fortnite. Over a million people daily are playing 5 weeks after the dlc launched. You are some salty individual that thinks somebody owes then something and can't look past your own ego. This franchise will live on superstar no matter how much you insult the fans of this game.

Even a casual glance at the last financial report from Activision on Bungie paints a vastly different picture. I really don't think they are too worries about that figure coming out, and that's coming from me as an extreme cynic.
