Anyone else just suddenly lost interest in this game?
I have 2 characters around the 550 mark and I was perfectly happy playing up until last Tuesday or Wednesday. After that I can't bring myself to put destiny 2 in my disc tray whatsoever😂🤔. I looked at the details for festival of the lost also to try bring back the spark to me but it just doesn't want to return. I think I'm actually quitting destiny without even having to try and bring myself off of it.
Edit: Wow. First time trending😁. Thanks for all the mature feedback. I was expecting comments like "delete your characters and game and stop looking for attention" or the "git gud" trolls but no. There is some really interesting feedback. Thanks for that👍

Like, I was expecting Faction Rallies or something, since we've already gotten Iron Banner. At least there will be plenty to do next week. I'm excited for Festival of the Lost. 😊

Once I clear the raid I’m sure my interest will drop. My internet is still pending install so I’m running off my phone as a hot spot and the NAT stinks, so no mic, hence no raid. I’m 575 and read to try! Maybe this weekend I’ll raid and lose interest lol

5 RepliesI'm halfway there. I've lost interest in grinding each character each day. Now I just pick one and don't even worry about the other two. The progression is slowed down enough that where I used to think "I can do this to get that much closer", now I just think "what's the point". I definitely think they swung a little too far in the other direction making the climb through levels so steep, but [i]don't anyone say I'm complaining[/i]. I wouldn't want to offend any tryhard who vaulted up to 600 while working three jobs, saving puppies and feeding the poor all at the same time.

I'd recommend taking a break for a week or more I've been feeling the same lately, battling constant and drawn out loading times, duplicate exotics and "powerful gear" being 15 lvls below my max light is taking a toll on my motivation. HOPEFULLY festival of the lost's haunted forest won't be a disappointment in terms of fun.

Yeah..im starting to get bored. My hunter is 589 , titan 579 and warlock 565. My rng has been garbage lately, and I keep getting boots, which I dont need. Ive gotten ace of spades, lord of wolves and chaperone, and one exotic hunter arms. The exotic rates for me have been absolute garbage so Im starting to lose interest.

2 RepliesI think the problem is too much stuff too do. Strike bounties, each day. Crucible bounties each day. Gambit bounties, each day. Plus planetary stuff, each day (spider & dreaming city). And if you want a triumph, you literally have to pick 1 and stick with it. Otherwise I feel you are just a hamster in the wheel. I'm getting bored, though I do love the grind. Too much repetitious is starting to get the best of me as well. Don't want to quit just yet as there are things that I have not done - such as Last Wish, though I'm strong enough at this point to get through it.

Both my Hunter and lock are nearing max light, Ive done most activities and have yet to get a new Forsaken Exotic drop. I think that's what's starting to put me off, I was really looking forward to getting at least one or two given the amount of time Ive put in. Exotics, even if it's one, give you a shot in the arm to keep chasing for the rest, but it's been really woeful. Im still invested, but I think Faction Rallies and an improved Iron Banner along with Strike loot and not nightfall loot loot would help.

1 ReplyYes. I hit the wall last week and struggled to get stuff done. This week it’s worse. I may take the rest of this week off and see if that helps. I have my characters at 585, 582, 581. Getting to 600 seems not do important right now. Ugh!!!

I've only been on my one char. Almost max light. That grind is real AF, thankfully I enjoy this grindy mmo lite version bring back the old days of my PC playing and mmorpg games. Tired of all these A.D.D games where you reset and redo the same thing every 10-15 minutes. Single player games arent my thing and only a select few caught my interest in last 10 years. Original gamer, I crave that pvp and fun pve. Light levels is only a temporary grind. Still looking for them God and jesus rolls.

I have my ups and downs. I just feel like I have to rush everything but the time I give isn't enjoyable because of that. I sincerely hate wasting time at the tower for bounties etc. And I love playing comp but the loss system is so discouraging especially with having to do specific quests with set loadouts

4 RepliesWell. AGAIN bungie made the new light level cap free. Just do your weekly homework and you will be max light. So there is that. About pvp? Well Competitive is utter garbage for majority of players (soloes) Quickplay is actually fine in my opinion. Raid is cool. Havent been able to do it because my friends are lazy AF. Gambit: a joke New mode breakthrou: a joke, took it out in less than a month? Lol
