Anyone else just suddenly lost interest in this game?
I have 2 characters around the 550 mark and I was perfectly happy playing up until last Tuesday or Wednesday. After that I can't bring myself to put destiny 2 in my disc tray whatsoever😂🤔. I looked at the details for festival of the lost also to try bring back the spark to me but it just doesn't want to return. I think I'm actually quitting destiny without even having to try and bring myself off of it.
Edit: Wow. First time trending😁. Thanks for all the mature feedback. I was expecting comments like "delete your characters and game and stop looking for attention" or the "git gud" trolls but no. There is some really interesting feedback. Thanks for that👍

I have resigned to only play only my main. Can’t bring myself to grind out another character. Not really worth the time. Once through is enough. 3 characters is just another way for bungo to keep us logged in. They should just allow us to pick our attack mode Loadouts from all types into one character we main. I think that would make me feel like there is more depth of options. Just a thought.

I lost interest back almost a year ago. I only played the dlcs bc i paid for them in advance (like most of us did, which was dumb & reason y i didn’t get forsaken). I’ve thought about coming back since forsaken put D2 in a good place but w ac odyssey, Spider-Man & soon RDR2! I’d just rather play these games. So much fun.

I'm with you. I have the 3 characters but I only play my hunter. My friend said she's tired of destiny. And as soon as she said that. I realized I was sick of it too. The grind is real. Red dead 2 will be a breath of fresh air 4 me.

I primarily solo play and I am stuck around the mid 520's. All I really want is to play the new classes but that's locked behind the end game wall and that's frustrating to me. On top of that all the people I use to play with have scattered to the winds and there doesn't seem to be a return of any of them in sight. I guess I just gotta drop the game from time to time and try it again later.

3 RepliesI have gradually lost interest since Forsaken launched. First week, I wanted to play. Over the weeks since then, my time has started going down and down. I still play, but just feel that unless you have friends to play with, it is just another game now.

I mostly like the current state of the game but there needs to be some minor tweaks. Powerful gear should always be at least one higher than the max power of gear type of the reward. Powerful gear quests should give an option of weapon or armor (similar to D1 vendors). Exotics sound like they are being addressed but there should be increased chances to acquire new exotics. Potentially exotic shards that can be used to purchase newer exotics from Xur. Crafting/Gear modification system. Rng acquisition is fine when I can work towards making the gear loadout that I want. Bungie stepped in a better direction with forsaken but they really just met a low expectation of the player base. Lots of improvement opportunities here.

Seems normal. This is just one video game. It's not supposed to be the culmination of someone's life achievement. This should just be something to do in your spare time until the next thing comes along.

4 RepliesI got burnt out over that crappy Solstice armor and now I really don't feel like playing the new content. I hate the bounty system. Just the idea that I have to actually grab the bounties everyday is what sucks. They could just auto-implement them if they want us to actually utilize them.

Constantly getting -blam!-ed by rng and ALWAYS getting weapons instead of armor to level up has severely dampered my want to play.

Try playing a different game, you know other games do exist they didn't just disappear lmfao sounds like you burned yourself out. I just go play Mafia 3 or Tekken 7 when I'm burned out

I guess I could say I am, but really it’s just because im usually doing everything solo. I do play with my brother, but with other games coming out he probably won’t be on much, just started a clan, but many low level guardians. I just don’t know what to do anymore, I love playing this game but not when I don’t really have people to play with.

6 RepliesNope!! Cant wait to finish the raid and solo shattered dungeon! You must not be in a clan either or it is dead. My clan is semi alive but I dont mind soloing most of it. If you enjoy D1 or destiny at all this is one of the best. They made up for year 1 D2. Played for 3 weeks and quit until 7 weeks ago. Sorry to hear that.

3 RepliesI’m getting there. The power leveling grind isn’t horrible but now the dreaming city is literally the only place I can get REWARDING gear it’s a little disappointing. From what I’ve heard and understand, after light level 580 the only POWER gear comes from the last few encounters of the raid. Prime engrams of course are still in play. While I don’t want destiny to change THEIR game, I can always change if I want to play it or not. I don’t hate this game or the way it’s setup but it’s the same old stuff, I hate crucible and don’t bother with it, Gambit is not fun for me and prefer not to play it. The level is pretty slow, my clan doesn’t seem to raid very often if at all. Maybe when the new dlc comes out it’ll have more to offer ME. Unlike others I don’t worry about or care what other people have. I play this game for me and only me so when I get to that point of monotonous boredom I occupy my time in other ways.
