Maybe I just need to go back to Battlefield.
I don't know what's different about D2 pvp but it's just a very frustrating experience.
I'm trying so hard to have some level of tactics and aim and all I see as the most effective tactic is [u]running[/u] around with Trust and Chaperone. So engagement tactics at all.
2 weapons that I'll likely never see because progression is terrible and the loot pool is garbage.
It's becoming more and more not worth playing.

The problem is though that the PvP of Destiny has always been shit. Its just that the level of shit has varried over the years.

Disagree. Even in some of the metas of D1 I was always having fun. I don't know what changed either with the game or me but it's just very frustrating now.

How long did it take you to notice it’s a shit game? How long did you defend the shit game and attack anyone who criticized it? Now here you are. Lol.

(Except maybe snipers) I don't know what changed in the game or me but it's only lately that it's been frustrating. I still support the game and Crucible in general. Just trying to figure out why I feel this way in the last month or so. I was ok with the specials change but not ok with removing sbmm from QP. I don't really like the comp modes but QP has become terrible for me without SBMM. So I feel that I'm limited to a mode I already dislike. Probably compounding the frustration. So maybe it's not pvp on general but the decisions on MM and such. You don't play the game anymore anyway so your opinion about it current state means jack shit.
