Think about it: The Scorn tether not only gives the Scorn invulnerability, it's almost impossible to get away from without killing it. But if a Nightstalker tether's got you down? No problem, easily walk behind the nearest wooden box and voila, no more pesky space magic!
Bungie, please take heed: Tether is still garbage-tier in PvP. IMO, the solid neutral game of top-tree Nightstalker does not make up for a super that, when I use it, actually makes me feel weaker than I normally do (as opposed to feeling powerful and deadly, which is how I feel when using any other super). It needs a buff or an outright rework (as opposed to the "buff" it got for Forsaken, which is barely even noticeable).
EDIT: OK, so clearly this is not a great comparison, and is not exactly apples to apples. My point, which I obviously haven't made well, is that Tether is still really, really bad in PvP and needs either a buff or a rework, because a lot of the time, it's just a glorified suicide button.

I mean, if the tether pulled, that'd be very interesting, it is a black hole sorta after all.
