There is nothing wrong with powerful loot drops. Progression is supposed to slow down as you increase in power level. 'easier' activities are supposed to yield lesser powerful rewards. Exotic drop rates are fine where they are but I agree with Bungie that duplicate protection should be implemented. The feel of an exotic drop should feel special or exciting. Masterwork core economy does need addressed. I am sitting with plenty of MWC from Warmind but I can see how others would be much more impacted by the new change. Especially with simple infusions. I never said that they should add cross-play or cross-saving next week. That is a feature that will come with future revisions (at least I hope). I was just wondering if there was any other information about its progress. Cheers

I guess that's just normal and I'm supposed to be fine with it? Completed 90% of milestones yesterday and got one decent drop that wasn't only +1. Most of the +1 fell in the wrong slot, adding no progression at all. So YOU are sitting on a stockpile of mw cores, and? I'm now using 3 weapons that I don't want to use just because they are higher power and I have no mw cores for simple infusion.

If you are above the recommended power level for the activity you are not going to receive large upgrades from said activity. this is 'working as-intended' as Bungie would put it yes. After about 560 power all of the milestones are only going to give you +1s. It has been that way for 2 weeks for me now. Drops landing in a wrong slot is all RNG and that is part of the grind. If you can do the Shattered Throne solo I am confused why your powerful drops are even a problem. You will hit 600 eventually - just enjoy the grind and the activities or switch games... Yes, I am sitting on a moderate pile of MWC but I also noted that I can see how others would struggle with the current economy. There are sources for earning MWC but they come from pretty exotic places. One being in a clan level 5 I believe. There will be opportunities for more MWC in the future - be patient. Bungie is waiting for people (worse than myself) to burn down their current stash before addressing this. Spoke to one guy a few days ago that had hundreds of MWC sitting around.

People having an over abundance of cores has absolutely no affect on me. Having zero myself does. It's virtual economy, not supply and demand. So the vast majority have to suffer because of it? Awesome
