Alright guys, i'm sure a few of you are in a similar predicament. You're low on MWcores and mod parts and you want to either infuse or MW a piece of gear you like. You currently have EVERY exotic pre-Forsaken and you're really stressing about how you will infuse it up with the costs so high? You're getting on to about 540/550/560 (or more) and really starting to get miffed that you can't whip out that sweet-ass (place exotic name here) while doing some content as it drops your light too hard (sadly it's still a 370 something). Whelp, i'm about to tell you to do something that you might not have considered yet as it's a bit counter-intuitive to how we've been playing this game since launch. Dismantle all your pre-forsaken (under 500) exotics. Just do it. Break them all down. Do NOT infuse them up. Don't hit that back button, I know this sounds nutty but hear me out. The cost for re-purchasing an exotic from your collections is pennies. It's a few glimmer, some weapon parts, and a couple shards. FAR cheaper than infusing, trust me. I'm 565ish right now and when I purchase an exotic from my collection, it drops at 550. I know right? I didn't believe it at first either until I started re-buying all my exotics and trashing the old ones. You get your catalysts too. No joke, just do it guys - it rocks and is totally better than spending all those MWcores to infuse your exotics up.
