Well, there is that starting quest/milestone step to play a couple comp matches... helluva way to introduce the n00bs to PvP.
Although, I guess not all are "new," but they won't have the gear, the stats, and sometimes the abilities to effectively compete. So there's that.

I never played Comp mode so I didnt start this quest with the forsaken release. Thats what common sense and logic tells you. I first played quickplays, got better and now I'm starting this quest line. Unfortunetly I'm getting matched with those noobs with green guns that are too dumb to find out they are playing a mode they shouldn't. Bungie should lock comp mode before you reach like 100 quickplays etc.
