I think they're too busy making that Chinese game and also I fear they're gradually handing off destiny IP to Activision and highmoon & the other one-who'll take over the ip for d3. Bungie swings way too hard to extremes and has issues finding a balance. For myself, without duplicate protection-the road to 555 Raid Ready from 520 is something I may pass on and quit the game. I'll feel like I got robbed of $10 for not being able to play the raid but I'll know to not pay launch price for Destiny. The player count is very low and destiny is only listening to the Streamer Darlings. Hey, one can't win em all but Destiny had a hell of a run and I am truly happy for the no lifers who can play thirty hours a week but I'm gonna pass on the dogshit mw core economy, leveling duplicates, tiny loot puddle and overly complex TIME GATED progression. No, they don't give a shit unless your a "true" believer or a content creator

Edited by SkunkApeDahSWAMP: 9/21/2018 10:24:25 AMI hope they do hand it off, Bungie has been the worst thing about Destiny since the first game launched. Yeah, Forsaken has some serious issues, but it is the most fun Destiny 2 has ever been. Year one was a joke, I quit playing a month after it launched and didn’t come back until August, even though I had bought the digital deluxe that included Osiris and Warmind. Everything you mentioned are serious problems that they need to address for this game to really shine. It’s like they have no faith in the fun of their own game so they are deliberately slowing progress and loot pools. It is a really asinine decision and it makes for an unrewarding experience. As someone that has been playing this expansion way too much since it’s release, I can attest that the drop rates are absolutely horrendous. Never mind the bs they have pulled with the subclasses, which was the main thing I decided to buy this for.

Great observation about them not having enough faith in their own game, so they think they have to slow your progress to an abominable crawl to keep you around. How about putting more dev effort into actual content, less into how to make us waste more time on the same old drudgery. I had a lot more fun with, and put more weekly hours into, past offerings from Gearbox. The new weapons and armor in D2F are mostly crap. Have not seen a single exotic drop yet. Reasonable infusion cost (i.e. no MW cores, or much better availability of same) would help at least a little.

I agree. The masterwork core requirement for infusing is pretty screwed up on and of itself. Add on top of it all the other things they are doing, and it is really just sad and disheartening.
