The "community summit' should have given everyone a clue about that. It's been this way since D1 released and since it's 4 years later? I don't think much will change. Sure, the small petty things they listened to but when streamers, content creators, YouTubers or whatever have a priority over the entire player base like the "worlds first" that was a joke. Yeah...

  • The youtubers and streamers took feedback from their subscribers and passed it on to Bungie. Forsaken wouldnt have turned out as well as it did without their input.

  • I feel like the raid was a gift to the streamers because they went back and told all their followers that the game was getting fixed so a lot more people went ahead and bought the dlc. Bungie is going to cater to the people who give them free advertising first, and then if there is a small problem that is easy enough to fix they will throw that on the pile. They needed an equal number of laymen gamers at that summit so that a real compromise could have been found. Just think of streamers as typical politicians. They really have no idea what the actual people want.

It creaks me up when I'm looking up something and I run across a streamer bribing gamers to subscribe to them. The sad thing about it is knowing how many suckers there are out there. Streamers are the plague of video games.

  • People love the game and that's a great thing. Bungie is so vague on shit to do in this game that besides Reddit, YouTube is the only place to figure out how to beat progress within the game. YouTube is what it is

Bungie expects you to rely on them, it keeps the cycle rolling. Bungie already knew they were going to hear it from the community about the way they went about slowing progress way down and usually they won't say anything about it to ride it out. Just like when they hid for a month to ride dawning out and made a statement after the fact knowing this forum was flooded the entire time about it. I'm sorry, but that is what I call a coward and dawning is not the only time they have pulled nonsense like that. Then when Bungie thinks gamers had enough of them dragging things out because there isn't enough content they will increase drop rates, reduce the cost for masterwork etc... This is usually when the hardcore Bungie fans try to say, see, Bungie is listening. It's been this way since D1 released and the cycle will continue throughout Destiny's lifespan. I've learned this back in D1 right after Ttk released, that tough me to never pre-order from this company and never buy any of the expansions until at least a few months later when they stop toying with the player base so much. All I have to do is wait it out and I don't have to deal with all the headaches gamers are dealing with right now.

  • This might be the dumbest small paragraph of text I've read all day. "bribing gamers to subscribe to them." Please explain to me in full detail how people are bribed into subscribing to them on twitch. I don't see a knife being held to viewers throats forcing them to give their own money to a streamer. Last I checked it was optional.... Care to explain?

  • Last I checked, most streames don't need to offer "gift' to get people to subscribe.

LMFAOO you're reaching dude. That's twitch promoting it and it's called "advertising". You know...those commercials you see on TV at least 30 times a day? Same concept, different platform. Once again still optional. Go google the word "Bribe" because by your definition you have absolutely no clue what it means.

  • Still haven't answered my question though...explain how it's bribing? You go from reaching for an excuse to validate your argument and now you're dodging my question. Ya hate to see it.

  • If you can't figure it out why waste my time explaining? I rather watch you keep reaching and making your foolish comments. It's quite entertaining lol. Go ahead, ask me again why I'm avoiding the question LMFAO...

  • He's quite correct. It does help to back up your claim especially if someone is calling you out. So far all you did is spoke your opinion. I personally think that streamers how some influence on the game but not all. Some of these ideals that came from a streamer is probably because of the community. I mean evidence that point to this was posted on these forums. Look we all know the fact is we have a split community with wants. It isn't just one group of a community but many.

  • Worlds first would still be worlds first if the first group to do it did it a week after it was released.
