I’m honestly sick of every update requiring me to play crucible. It wouldn’t be bad if crucible didn’t suck complete ass.
Like all I want to do is get my solstice armor upgraded. But no, I have to play your god awful crucible to do so.
-blam!- off bungie.

I love playing destiny, but I never play PVP. It’s a completely different game to what I paid. So to insist we play PVP to get armour etc needed for normal game play is just wrong. Also my son plays and he isn’t allowed to play with people he doesn’t know. So you have restricted him before he has started. It’s the worse move out of many wrong moves you have made Bungie!

It's that simple.

Signed. We know it's there, we will play it when we want to as we are the customers, not beta testers/test subjects.

I personally can play crucible for requirements, im pretty decent at it, I just don't like destiny pvp, never have. (and I play plenty of pvp games, destiny is just not fun, period.) however my sister does not play pvp, she grinds the crap out of PvE, enjoys the game. she just does not like competitive gameplay, nor does she like grouping with people she does not know (she even sets warframe to solo only unless she is playing with friends or family) everytime something gets added to the game like the Osiris weapons or raids or gear like this, she just gets disappointed as its just more stuff added to the list of things she cannot have. she pays the same as everyone else, plays just as much if not more so (even grinds out PvE for people while there at work if she has nothing left to do) and yet these dumb arbitrary requirements on event gear prevent any sort of progress. bungie, your pvp sucks ass, you have millions of players, if we average your posted numbers you have around 15mil players. . .less then 9k have redrixes claymore. you put the biggest carrot in pvp we have seen in all of destiny 2, and less then 9000 people have it out of millions. your pvp sucks ass.

I had no problem with having to win 5 matchs,30 supers kills and so on but now i have to reach Legend rank for my f!cking boots? When crucible is the most sweaty it has ever been?! Seriously its like Comp n Trials on steroids.

3 RepliesBungie should give me the OPTION to choose either PvP path or PvE path. Everytime I am forced to play Crucible for some random upgrade I hate it more and more. That will never change. Some of us don't like PvP, and some don't like PvE. Please stop trying to merge us...
-
2 RepliesI would like to chime in here. I do not mind doing crucible. I just do not like that I am forced to play it for a piece of gear that is pertinent to the overall power level in the game. I spent 8+ hours grinding super kills last night and I think that was way overkill for a crappy crucible player like me. Don't ask me to "get good". I know I am not good and I do not want to play it "period". This type of gear should have had multiple paths to achieve the same goal. So we could all play our own game types.

Grinding out crucible for SoH gear and my team is winning in clash. I come up against an opponent who takes two five round bursts from my VW to the head and they only take away about 1/4 of his shield and then he kills me. Naturally, I think to myself "wtf, even if that didn't kill him why the hell did it do so little damage?" I look at the scoreboard and roll my eyes and sigh a "fk you" to Bungie. As if it's not bad enough having to play this garbage, having to put up with their behind the scenes meddling to keep the game "fair" just reminds me why I no longer consider Bungie even on the list of halfway intelligent developers when it comes to pvp. The more I play, grinding out r6 for my SoH armor, the less I find myself inclined to buy Forsakened.

1 ReplyI upvote this, for the sake of the PvE'rs. Bungie could at least have given the "option" to complete a certain task on this armor in either PvP or PvE. Example: 1.) Defeat 30 Mini-Bosses/Bosses in PvE with your Super. Or.... 2.) Defeat 30 Opponents in PvP with your Super. Whichever is your preference or "forte" you'll choose and do fine in. If they would do this, then everyone would be happy.

5 RepliesI like the idea of the Solstice armor, however, PvP covers a very specific emotional range that is not everyone's cup of tea. No amount of trying to evangelize PvP by aligning it with the personal goals of players is going to change that, or lessen the impact. Nobody asks for PvE modes in PvP only games. Why does Bungie think PvE fans bought their game? Play to your fanbase, if you have two of them, good, but do not try to mix them together against their will. Empower people for the choices they make, instead of trying to force something on them. Destiny 2 PvP is like that person that wants you to hug them and that won't go away. The most difficult thing PvE players have to do is clear Leviathan Prestige. Which is capped at power level 300, removing any gear barriers to that feat. If you are having trouble doing that on your own (#sarcasm), the game (forum anyway) offers you to find other players, team up, do it together, help each other. Most likely you end up having a nice social experience, since there are guilds dedicated to helping people after all. The goal is tough, but there are many redeeming qualities. The grind goals also have a redeeming quality. You are probably watching Netflix, Youtube and Twitch on the side at the same time. Again, not that bad, because #redeemingquality. PvP is a different beast. It wants all your attention, tosses you no bones and to make matters worse, you do have to progress to the highest level of it within four weeks. Forget those 30 super kills and 5 crucible wins, as annoying as they are, they pale in comparison to what Masterwork Leg Armor is going to ask of you in terms of PvP. Grind the highest Valor rank in 4 weeks, during the summer. That is straight up abusive.

3 RepliesCan I have a PvP version of the Solistice armor please? I hate and I find it boring as hell to replay again story missions.

1 ReplyEdited by A_mo: 8/4/2018 8:54:54 AMScrew you. They want PvP players to find all 68 region chests.

Let’s just petition for D3 to be 2 completely separate games. It’s stupid to have them together.
-
1 ReplyCan we have a petition to remove pve from the game?

I think no one should be forced to play certain activities for a limited time armor/masterwork like the Solstice of Heroes armor. At least give two or three options to achieve the final goals. Make a PvE route, PvP route, and a PvE+PvP route. So no matter which activity you prefer, you get your stuff. There are lots of people that don't play Raids, and/or don't like them, although those are the most unique activities on Destiny. But we already have Raid exclusive armor/weapon sets. Reaching Legend in the Crucible will be a pain in the -blam-

3 RepliesBungie needs to stop making PVE players go into PVP, It's not fun for PVE players and only why PVP players wants bungie to keep it the same is so they have something to do.

Edited by B312: 8/3/2018 6:07:31 PMTo be honest, I've done enough of the crucible. I am pretty sure I've surpassed the idea of my comfort zone and I am very tired of dealing with toxic, unimaginative, prepubescent assholes who constantly think it's okay to vomit all over my PM tab. Some people just can't adapt. Acknowledge that.

stop complaining You realize this armor is going to make practically no difference right? The only time this armor will make a difference is in the heroic whisper quest where the power level is actually 400, besides from that it may give you a slight bump when forsaken comes out but I’m assuming that blues will quickly overrule that anyways. If you really hate crucible that much that you can’t complete 2 rather easy tasks (30 super kills, 5 wins for blue armor) than idk what else to say. I know you hate crucible blah blah so do I normally, I almost exclusively play PvE but I was still able to jump in and get my super kills in about 5 matches. Plus mayhem is up next week so that’s even easier to get super kills. It’s kind of ridiculous how the forums are filled with complaints over a rather easy task. Yes destiny is suppose to be a PvE focused game but you have a month to get the armor for God’s sake, if crucible is really causing you this much trauma than take a break and work on it casually. I just don’t see the reason for all these cry babies in the forums because they have to step outside of their comfort zone and try something different. Putting in some pvp requirements is healthy for the game and this event.
thats how I feel for the super kills and wins for the green and blue armor, bungie definitely stepped overboard in the masterwork challenges to have you reach legendary valor rank, but again you wouldn’t know that if you’re one of the people spamming the forums with “i can’t get super kills” posts
Its 30 super kills and 5 wins its really not that hard
-
Lol, 30 super kills in pvp is nothing. It's literally like 5 games if you use a sunbreaker Titan. No the truly annoying and mind-numbing part is replaying pve missions over and over... and over...and over..and over...and... zzzzzz... zzzzz...huh? Hello? Guys? Awww fuuuuuuck. Nothing puts me to sleep faster than Pve.
