To start off, I am a veteran Destiny player. I played trials all throughout Destiny 1, but something isnt right about Destiny 2. the meta is way off, and the matchmaking is sub par at best. I congratulate bungie for all else theyve done, but they really dropped the ball on Trials. When you do win, the rewards are peasant gear.
My main problem, is matchmaking. I am a good player, but I roll with some lower level people to give them a chance. We get into matchmaking, and get absolute tryhards on game 1. Not your normal sweaties either, like 2.0KD professionals. I dont mind this on round 7 or 8, because thats how it is. But round 1-4 is the same. We dont stand a chance. On top of that, 3 times today we got paired with a team that stomped us twice, giving them an easy 2 wins.
I dont understand this, and think some lazy loser at bungle headquarters forgot to make matchmaking actually matchmake
Trials isnt trials anymore, its paid carries and no life losers.
Not to mention the unbalanced weapon system. Fusions literaly snipe, and out play a shotgun, sniper, anything.
Supers are garbage, and Whenever I use mine, I die from a melee
Bungie fix your game. Balance crucible, and fix matchmaking.

Im not a trials player, but did go flawless a few times in D1. Elimination was a fun, but challenging, game mode.. it felt more strat based.. The issue with D2 trials, is that it feels like regular crucible.. The place you go to isnt special either. It just isnt the same at all. And because it doesnt play or feel the same, and it just isnt fun.. I have not played it since my first couple tries.

Trials began the downgrade of the Crucible because all player choice and skill has become a massive blur under cancerous metas

Your not as good as you think you are if you think a 2 kd is professional

Bungie is the worst thing to ever happen to Destiny.....

yeah, we always get peasant gear and repeats, if it at least had randomized stats, different mods/features, i cry about this stuff too, the public events and each planet have enemies that dont give up original rewards, or loot, what about a cabal coin, or some foreign weapons or tools, technology? trinkets? And of the enemies, if they keep loosing why do they keep seding the same forces to the same events? coulnt other forces occasionally interupt public events and have different looking monsters and enemies? rewards based upon this fact?

i rolled in this particular party and same here, D1 vet, used to enjoy trials, plenty of D1 flawless, but as stated, the meta is ridiculous, the matchmaking falls so short of actually doing a good job. the concept of not doing it based on skill is great and all, but just lazily dropping you into the same teams to face 3 times is just ridiculous (one team we actually got 3 times which really, really, shouldn't happen, especially when you switch hosts). Between the difficulty in finding a team because this late on barely having played trials, against such try hard sweaty teams, stats are now totally whack and when you do get a team, you just face the same super leet mlg pro players 3 times in a row. I was getting hyped for forsaken, now I'm genuinely reconsidering because once the story bit is done, I'll still be left with the same problem.

Yeah you are right trials are only paid carries and most of players are no life loosers and cheaters . With super active my hunter is garbage he die in less than a second. My weapons shoot blanks. Wtf is wrong with people on bungie?
