Can we talk about the AFK players in Strikes?

I’m not talking about people who leave to go to the bathroom or go to make a sandwich, I’m talking about the people who’ll willingly do nothing but mock people while forcing them to do all the work. A few Strikes ago, Will of Thousands, I had this dude join in. He was a pain in the a**. All he did was jump around and dance. Whenever one of us died, he would bag and continue to mock us with emotes. I even tried messaging him to stop and help out, but... well, let’s just say he wasn’t a very pleasant fellow. I know what you’re gonna say, “well why didn’t you just leave then?” Well, I wanted to, but we were already halfway through the Strike, so it was either start from scratch or get this one done with and hope I never saw the dude again. Even at the end, he still tried mocking us and still kept spamming messages saying how we were losers and nothing more than his personal taxi through the Strike. Thankfully, since he was a rather unpleasant fellow, I got my payback and reported majority of his messages. I had to anyways, some of the stuff he said was outright horrible. Honestly, I think this could be avoided if the in game report system was more reliable. I checked this guys game history and it was nothing but him sitting at near nothing when it came to kills while his teammates had over a hundred. If maybe after so many reports, you can warn these people and/or temporarily ban them from the activity so they learn to participate. Or maybe add a new report feature for when these scenarios pop up. After both teammates report them, check and see how these players are doing and if it isn’t looking like they’ve been doing much after so long in a Strike, you boot them to orbit and tell them something like “You were booted to Orbit for poor teamwork. We ask that all of our players participate in activities they have chosen to do.”
Moderator edit: This thread has been moved to #Feedback forum so that other Destiny players can weigh in.  See Cozmo's thread here for more information about the #Feedback tag and its uses. • The answer to this is a vote button to kick. Majority wins end of discussion. Same if matchmaking for raids would ever come. No party leader but option to vote to kick. Yeah still would get trolls but majority would be kicked out before getting far into activity.
