STOP TAKING GLORY POINTS WHEN TEAMMATES ABANDON
I don't know how many posts I've seen of this Bungie, but you seriously need to stop deducting glory points for those who chose to remain in a match, if you leave a competitive match you lose more points for abandoning.
While I'm all up for a three vs four match (as it is winnable)
1 v4 or even a 2v4 on survival or countdown is relatively impossible due to the PVP mechanics we have.
STOP PUNISHING PLAYERS FOR BEING LOYAL
Please bump this guys, we need to see this change in the next twab.

Teammates leaving is the reason I abandoned Competative a long time ago.

A really close match? even if you lose you GET points. have a meh match? lose , really bad match loose a good bit but not a huge chunck depending on how good YOU do. have horrible team mates and you doo decent don't lose as much as the team meates, get curb stomped? lose a good deal but not a huge chunck.

3 RepliesIn my opinion they should not take points away. Give points for wins and no points for.a lose but don't take points away for a lose. Bad matchmaking if your solo it can be hell plus people leaving. Even if you have 2 or 3 people in a Fire team one random might leave and you could be screwed. There are many things that could cause us to lose a match that are not our own fault. I think not getting points is bad enough.

You do know that tomorrow they lessen how much you lose when you lose or at least the streak is much less punishable. Not saying you are wrong. By why complain the day before they make a change? You don't even know how it will play out yet.

It seems the real issue is winning. I’ve mentioned it many times, if winning is important, roll with a team you know.

You should still lose glory. Just my opinion. But they should issue competitive bans for those who continuously leave early. Like a week long ban. Or only match those players together.

this will be changed when or sometime around forsaken (can recall the exact date). but this was a massive oversight that bungie should be incredibly embarrassed by when games have had similar ranking systems for years where teammates leaving and entering games in progress don't affect your rank.
