197 RepliesUpdate 1.2.3 will have some changes to the competitive experience, in terms of matchmaking. What about this in particular do you find unfavorable? We'll be collecting more feedback after Update 1.2.3 launches to pass along to the team.

Honestly Bungie when you guys actually fix competitive let me know..me and my buddy are Brave 2 and Brave 3 just played a whole group of people in heroic and you guys put the two guys with Jotunns on the other team cuz that's fair..the last game before that four guys with Lunas Howl and you guys grouped them together on the other team..at least split up people like that and make it fair.. and how bout we actually face people in our rank that'd be nice...I mean if your jus gonna screw everybody just tell us

2 RepliesThis game mode is absolutely terrible. You gain glory only to have it taken away due to 4 vs 3 or being matched with players with giant ability gaps. Why do we reset after every match? If a fireteam is doing well, let them stay together if they want for Christ's sake. Farming Luna's Howl has been a nightmare.

I only play this game for pvp and my play time is getting fewer and farther between. All they did was lower the skill gap you still had to communicate even with the radar i hate people are saying it takes more skill. With radar i know where you are and you know where i am and the best shot wins theres nothing more skillful than that. Hiding and camping are at an all time high every pubstomping i received was by passive teams camping spawns. And dont get me started on survival its spawns flip in that game type its chaos. Quick play is really fun once i gave it chance but competitive no bueno.

8 RepliesI like it actually, it's the only thing in the game that actually makes me feel like there's something on the line! A real reward for a real challenge! I'm happy they're changing the matchmaking to match by rank, that just makes sense. And the reduction of loss penalty is welcome to ease the pain a bit. I'm sitting on 950 glory currently and I'm looking forward to the second half of the climb with the new changes it should be a bit easier.

What about a Competitive Rumble playlist? 6 Guardians on the Map. Every guardian has 3 respawns. Last guardian standing wins. Radar is active. Glory points: Winner: 35points 2nd: 20points 3rd: 15points 4th: 0points 5th: -10points 6th: -15points Leaving or disconnection/leaving -35points after 1st warning. Tailored towards SoloPlayers.

14 RepliesWhich competitive are you talking about? The one without radar, the one with radar or Iron Banner? Quickplay is often sweatier than comp, and Iron Banner is nightmare fuel. I guess the bright side for Quickplay and IB is no quitter penalties. See a 4-6 stack of Arcstriders with Wormhusk, Graviton and Antiope and just quit immediately. Not worth it.

2 RepliesMy favorite part of comp is that after 5 consecutive wins, your streak resets. But after 5 consecutive losses, it does not. So much fun.

I have avoided crucible this entire season so far for that reason. I've never been a big pvp person but I do remember having a lot of fun in the crucible in D1, back when we were allowed to have power fantasies, and I don't recall ever skipping an IB week in D1 while I was still active but I've skipped every IB week so far this season. I just can't stand crucible anymore, and I've already got too many irl stressors as it is to be wasting my time on a game mode where I'm just not having any fun at all. This isn't me saying everyone should boycott crucible. Bungie obviously had a very specific audience in mind when they made D2's crucible and I'm just not part of that demograph. If you are, good, I'm glad someone is enjoying it. Just at a very stressful point irl at the moment and it's sad to see the developers I once loved taking a game I once loved and turning it into something that I can't stand to play anymore.
