FINALLY SPACE BATTLES!!!
At last we have space battles with ship to ship boading, where you have to fend off waves of invaders, and sent infiltrators to board enemy cruisers and take down their shield generators so you can bring them down in epic space battles FINALLY!!!................................. In a game that has 1/4 the number of employees and probably 1/10 the budget. But Destiny 2 did steal the bow from Warframe so.....Yaaaaayyy???
EDIT: Just to cut the fanboy flame war comments in half...Did I ONCE say that I even play Warframe? No, I didn't and I don't. So for everyone that assumes I'm some Warframe fanboy shitting on Destiny, I'm not. I'm a Destiny player shitting on Destiny so you should all be used to that. It should be OK for someone to be impressed with another game doing something Destiny players have been asking for since day one, and be disappointed that Destiny still doesn't have it. It should also be OK for a Destiny player to be impressed with how DE does so much with so little, while Bungie does so little with so much.
Also, for all of you super observant guys that know that other games had bows before Warframe, no shit! Warframe launched as a looter shooter/brawler MMORPG and it's combat was defined by using futuristic or medieval weapons. Then Destiny launches as a looter shooter MMORPG. Then it adds swords, the occasional axe, then mods, then bows, and it's starting to look a little more similar. One is a fluke, two's a coincidence, three's a pattern. As a matter of fact a lot of the changes in gear design that people complain about look more at home in Warframe than Destiny. The bow comment was a joke, based on a trend I've noticed, and you guys are jumping on it like it exists in a void.

2 RepliesMeh, I'll reserve judgement until I see the content implemented. I was excited for the Plains, and we all know how that turned out. The whole archwing thing sounded cool in theory too, but...well....yeah. Don't get me wrong, it could be great, but only time will tell.

I play Warframe. I love the game, and destiny too. Problem is Warframe takes risk, and leaps and it has paid off, and all its content is free, Is there a grind " big time", can you just buy the frames you wants" sure, but you can't buy the mods still need to grind it to make your frame powerful, and you don't have to buy the the frames, you can grind and earn them as well." Mean while bungie is going back, trying make D2 to be like D1 so yea there is that 9 new supers great, but when you look at it, what leaps, and risk have they taken that is major..not much. They are trying there best just to get the game back to D1, and Warframe is becoming something entirely new.

1 ReplyDE is far more in tune with their community and their game than Bungie is with theirs. DE figured out what direction they want to go in, meanwhile Bungie keeps going around in circles trying to figure out what they are even doing. Its pretty obvious

I played Destiny for 3 years. I played D2 for about 3 months. I am going on one year on Warframe. It would be hard to argue that Warframe is better than Destiny, but I can honestly say without a doubt that Warframe kicks D2's d*ck in the dirt.

4 RepliesThen I guess Warframe stole the bow and swords from Zelda and space battles from the original Battlefront II. I'm not saying Bungie deserves any slack but to say they stole weapons from a competing gaming company is just complaining for the sake of it at this point.

5 RepliesIve played warframe and while i respect the game for what it's trying to do as a free game, It always seems like they're big ideas are just that "big ideas" without the actual meat needed to fill it out. I've gotten to that games endgame and it didn't mesh well for me probably for the same reason my best friend and monster Hunter world didn't mesh well either. It all comes down to preference so for me when I see them doing something like Fortuna I don't get excited I instead think " well plains was supposed to change the game too" and I lose interest. Either way people can play what they want I've never understood the heat between our two communities, try as I might. the wf fanbase seems obsessed with coming here or on social media and going " hey everyone look at how much we are beating destiny's ass! , look! " i mean ffs most of the gaming community at large probably doesn't care anyway. As for us? Buddy trust me nobody here needs anyhelp hating on bungie or destiny we do bad all by ourselves which is why I will always say I don't care about whatever game wants to challenge destiny or is coming out next if I find it interesting I'll play it, but that shit has nothing to do with wanting destiny to not suck ass. Simply put as a community we need forsaken to be steady ground to build off of, we need a damn win for once. You like warframe cool dude but fact is if destiny died tomorrow I bet you and alot of people would be happy.....still wouldn't get me to go back to warframe.

I don't think you'd be as excited if you did play warframe. Describing how something works on a dev build is a whole different thing to playing with randoms that won't turn on their mics because they've grown up communicating through Facebook.
