Forced how? What do you mean by forced? That means you are being held against your will to do something. Simply putting lesbian or gay characters into a video game isn’t “forcing” jackshit. What it DOES do is expose fragile little idiots, like yourself, who can’t comprehend that societies change.

  • When I was growing up, we thought lesbians were hawt. But then again, we also had girlfriends and lives. I'm truly starting to think the root of all of this is debilitating jealousy that even fictional video game girls are getting laid by women, and they're not. Pro-tip, fellas... ladies are more likely to date you if you're NOT a gamergating misogynistic who whines online about what women are doing.

  • Forced in the context that if you make a character lgbt it should contribute to the storyline and not be there simply for marketing purposes (i.e. we have lgbt characters in our story). That being said if you have a really strong story you can definitely mention the character is lgbt and not explore that as its character development at that point. But with a story as weak as destiny adding this fact becomes more crutch then plot moving device.

  • Societies do change. Then they fall.

  • It's forced because it's supposed to be a guardian action comic. I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure a large portion of the community doesn't give a shit on who Ana Bray dates or is with. If you watched the video in the post you might get it. Example: Non Forced Diversity : A movie that has a female/homosexual/other character that simply shows through actions that they are a strong person and never take time to say or acknowledge that they are female/homosexual/other and that can be just a strong as a straight white male, this movie also has a good plot that doesn't revolve around the person being "different". The audience simply notices that they are different through their actions, and it never has to be mentioned. Forced Diversity : A movie that has a female/homosexual/other character that verbally says multiple times throughout the movie that they are different and even though that are different can be just a strong as a straight white man. Not to mention this movie also has terrible writing, and the character is horribly unlikeable because they are so bland. Think of Stars Wars: The Last Jedi. In this comic most people want to see what makes Ana Bray powerful, and the full range of her abilities. I don't think ANYONE cares that she is homosexual to be honest. It's not important to the plot at all.

  • When it comes to writing, "forced" means putting something in with an agenda in mind on its inclusion, not because it'll actually contribute in an important way to the story/setting itself. So if a book has 3/4 of it's characters being gay, I'd definitely see an agenda on that.
