Funny how they all preach for inclusivity and diversity yet all they really do is exclude the opinions of anyone who disagrees.

Disagreeing that all people have basic human rights is not akin to economic models. There is no room for other opinions when it comes to human rights.

"I like the color blue" is an opinion. "I do not like the color blue, and do not want to wear it" is an opinion. "The color blue is wrong, it's destroying society, and we should melt down all blue crayons and whatever colors are to the left and right of them in the box to purge this disease from our society" is not an opinion. I am inclusive of those first two. The third I will meet you on the streets with fire and steel to drive you out.

They're all opinions. You're not the government. You are under no obligation to put up with other people's abusive, corrosive, and destructive political opinions. People are free to speak their minds, to the extent that they are willing to live with the consequences for having done so.

If they violently try to deny you the right to worship freely? I'll support your protest. But if you just want to bitch because they won't accept your efforts to CONTROL them, and prevent them from living THEIR lives freely? I'll support them AGAINST you.

No. Enforcing a healthy boundary on a those who don’t understand or accept what those are isn’t “control”. I’m not “limiting your freedom” when I stop you from dumping your garbage on my front lawn. I’m enforcing [i]responsible[/i] behavior on you. So that I can enjoy the free and reasonable use of my property without [b]your[/b] interference.

To incite people to do violence with my words. Or reveal the country’s secrets, etc.... Your right to freely practice your religion does not give you the right to use the government as the enforcement arm of your beliefs (First Amendment). It doesn’t give you the right to use your beliefs as a hammer to beat on others. It doesn’t give you the right to use your beliefs to interfere with My right to practice MY religion within MY life. Or my choice to live without ANY religious beliefs. Liberty is not LICENSE. “Freedom” that has no limits isn’t Liberty its ANARCHY. Which turns into Authoritarianism as the Strong will inevitably dominate the weak and the Many the Few under those conditions. Or as Ken Wilber says, “If you try to have democracy without protection for minority rights, THE [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] TAKE OVER.” Both literally, and figuratively. And sadly, many Christian fundamentalists here in the US think and behave like religious [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url]. Liberty only exists we’re there is a healthy balance of Individual Rights And RESPONSIBILITIES. But human nature always wants the one and not the other. Because responsibility feels like work. Cause it is.....

Because the worst offenders from both speak the loudest and ruin it for all .

No deal. No one needs to be silent. You just need to respect OTHER PEOPLE’s LEGITIMATE FREEDOM, while exercising your own. You don’t have be disallowed to walk the streets in my neighborhood. You just need to not dump your garbage on my lawn while doing it. Your religious rights just stop at the end of your nose, and is not your means by which to control others. Unless you want Muslim cab drivers telling you that you can’t have alcohol in their cabs, or Hindus telling you that you can’t enjoy eating beef because it offends their values...

But states are already silencing religion, which again was one of my first points . No public speaking against or reading materials involving homosexuality . The line has been crossed . So eventually this comes full circle, everyone is silent and everyone is angry .

It is true. You’ve simply hit up against the limits of your religious rights in a civil and free society. You are being required to respect the legitimate rights of others. I have the right to politically protest. But the community has the right to place boundaries around when and where I can do that.

It is nonsense. Asking for Seperation of Church and State isn't "purging" someone's right to worship freely. At leas no RATIONAL person's definition of that term.
