Sunbracers still useless?
So only one grenade does damage when you use them so it makes them worthless? Plus damage doesn't even stack with other players using a grenade? Please tell me this is a bug. Otherwise Bungie really messed up with the "buff."

4 Replieslook this up if you do not believe this. Bungie has had Destiny as a whole on the back burner and out sourced the last dlc. And it shows. D2 has been failuer and a insult to the player base. Know bungie is making a new game that has nothing to with the half assed destiny game. Now we can see why Destiny has no content and a huge mess of a story. With the connection to the china company way more Grredboxes and microtransaction are going to be the center piece as this is exactly what bungie has done with D2. Do Not Buy any DLC or anything ever again as bungie has shown Destiny is at best an after thought to them. Destiny has been guessed by players, Youtubers, and Streamers to be dead and Dying. Well now we know that bungie has no intention to make Destiny any better ever. Its over and done. A failuer from start to end. Check Google/Kotaku.com for yourself.

The video is rubbish, there is a marked difference in damage from tossing one dot effect grenade on a dog vs putting several. Doesn't matter the sources, there is a linear progression to the damage done in a single phase using grenades and only grenades. More grenades equals more damage. Even in the posted video you can see that when the ogre is actually in both grenades the health ticks down visibly faster.

I wouldn't say its useless since its like one big grenade that covers a lot of ground. But because getting melee ability kills is a such a pain in the rear, it really does make it seem a bit more lack luster.

Welp... this guy is an idiot. Firstly, his Double Solar grenade does indeed damage the Ogre faster. With 1 grenade he gets it down to 1/3 health in about 6 seconds. With 2 it gets there in about 4. I easily counted it myself. The only thing that seems apparent in that testing was not getting ticks on the second persons grenades. I'm can only hope that's a bug. The second idiot thing he does is trying differrent grenades from "Solar". The perk specifically says "Solar Grenade". Not Fusion or anything else. My guess is he's thinking that "Solar" means the "Solar subclass" and any grenage should apply. Uhmm no.

Considering the fact that you're most likely to trigger this with a lot of adds to deal with, the grenade spam is actually going to do very well for crowd control. Burn has never stacked btw. It's already the highest DPS grenade in the game. Get a Sunbreaker to Hammer Strike your target and throw one at Boss then use Power weapons.

4 RepliesI am sure it isn't a bug. It applies to all aoe damage it is likely another thing in this two primary game that is made to keep a cap on damage when everything is designed to be pecked to death with primary weapons. Short answer though is yes they are fairly useless. Exotic buff wasted.
