Hmm. Worth the investigation. Who knows, maybe it’s tied into getting a certain exotic sniper?

personally i think we need to wait until savathun is the nightfall (some guy on reddit had "door is closed" show up in the chat while doing the strike)

If that sniper rifle were in the game, wouldn't Destiny Tracker have pulled its stats out of the API? I've never seen a weapon that was in the game that Destiny Tracker didn't have an entry for within 24 hours. Pretty sure it mines the code. Made that whole "do you want Bungie to spoil the weapons" discussion kinda pointless, because I just went straight to Destiny Tracker and ogled their stats.

There are countless things in the game marked as classified. The API does not return stats for them.

REALLY?! I had no idea. Why don't they do that with all their "secret" rewards? We knew what the new IB weapons and faction weapons were going to be last season as soon as the update dropped, weeks before they were added to the loot pool.

That's awesome. But the first line is "We pretty much have confirmation it will be coming into the game soon." So... not here yet. However, I'm sure Destiny Tracker will have it whenever it does drop. And, of course, Bungie will leak the how-to to its favorite streamers, as it usually does.

It honestly feels like more people are just speculating it to be there, given it is a Hive based DLC. If it leads to something, someone on reddit will start investigating it.
