Flash Point: Mars. - Extra named bosses don't drop tokens?
So anyone noticed that this week's Flash Point: Mars also spawns the additional named boss during public events - But on Mars, the extra one doesn't drop the 3x faction tokens like the others do on the other planets' flash points?
Is it just me? Or am I missing something?

Nope. It’s the exact opposite for me. I’m getting all the exotics drops and it’s getting boring now. I have to keep dismantling them

This is pretty normal isn’t it? The Hive Knight mini boss on Titan does the same thing.

This happens a lot to me. Sometimes if you kill the minions that are with the named or yellow bar boss after that boss dies the chest drops. It's really weird. It may be a limit to chests, which makes no sense since they don't drop anything high level at all.

You must’ve missed the ghost at Everpurse that only cost 20,000 silver, that made yellows drop loot.

Doesn't really matter does it even if they gave the extra tokens you can't use them for anything just more underleveled junk.

Aren't they connected to the adventures on Mars, If your doing an adventure they do drop things but only for the person doing it, I've noticed anyone can kill them

Been happening during every public event on Mars since Warmind dropped. Special targets that appear during public events are not dropping anything.

I've noticed this too, every time the bonus boss dies. The extra bosses are the only reason worth doing the public events (until now I guess)... Another stealth nerf? Or is this more of Bungies game testing on live servers...

1 ReplyThanks I've seen the bosses on other planets but never knew what caused them to spawn. I didn't know the planet had to be the flashpoint.

I have killed at least 5 Yellow Barred Knights / Cabals on the Public Events (i.e. Warsat drops, Injection Rigs and that Hive disturbances) and not one of them drops tokens. I suspect it's just more broken buggy untested crap from BungHolio. Like their broken Cheat Detector (lag switching is worse than before Warmind dropped) , or matching single Players against Teams in Crucible (and them taking no damage at all as their compensation is applied against you), or their not counting Heroic Strikes if you do it with random players. But this is Situation Normal for Bungie - this is turning out almost as good as Andromeda ME. PS: I can't wait for the "Apology Train" to leave the Station either next week or a few weeks before the September update drops. I will not be pre-ordering and won't buy it until I see what actual changes they made, and then see if there are any other games I want to buy instead by good caring developers.

8 RepliesProbably the same reason Cayde gave me a Prototype Engram instead of Powerful gear for my Flashpoint. The expansion was rushed and not fully tested. Maybe? Who knows. It's bugged.

1 ReplyNope, nothing. They also don't count towards the flashpoint that I've seen. Bungie's brilliant new plan to artificially extend the grind. They don't understand psychology. When intelligent people start feeling manipulated, they do the opposite of what they are being manipulated towards. I. E., before the DLC I would play just to play in my spare time. Now, though I've made a conscious decision to only play one day per week. Hit them in the numbers. Won't matter though, because this game will be dead in the water in a month . Only reason streamers are playing it right now is because they had a large hand in the decisions made, but deep down even they know it's a terrible artificial grind. As soon as people stop watching their Destiny garbage they'll be back on Fortnite.

Edited by WaylandLoner: 5/17/2018 5:01:51 PMmy titan isnt seeing resonant stems at all. i think my warlock did and my hunter does, but many high level targets dont seem to drop chests at all. and my hunter has all the normal adventures on mars glitched. it says active for all of them with ana bray but no map marker waypoints and nothing at where the banner things for the trigger should be so you cant start or buy the quests. not just that, but when doing the memories, i was supposed to get 3 emblems - nothing i can see, not even in vault for my hunter.

4 RepliesThey drop 2 resonate stems for me, which IMO is better than 3 tokens. At that point a heroic is 4 stems for a whole node.

6 RepliesPublic event frequency on Mars is actually giving me flashbacks to the Sleeper quest in D1..... hell, I think WarSats dropped more frequently in D1 than public events are happening in D2........

Edited by rey-solo-ren: 5/17/2018 2:42:16 PMand they didn't even drop emblems like the ones on other planets I noticed that this week to say this game suffered many issues with the DLC like powerful clan engrams where dropping lower gear in which players was instructed not to cash them in and several of chests wasn't giving out tokens either so it just wasn't the flashpoint boss problem it was an game problem but strangely got tones of tokens just opening Cayde's treasure boxes and he only had three as the same quantity as the ones on mercury flashpoints when it's deplorable to say he should have giving out the full 6 boxes for mars due to being larger than mercury I hope they solve the issues the next time.
