It's not much and honestly it really shouldn't matter, there are only small dialogue changes as far as I'm aware between a fresh D2 character and one brought over from the first game, but I liked knowing that my Guardian had been there and seen the Fallen and the Hive, had taken on the Taken and they and their ghost understood the intrepid dangers. I originally played Destiny 1 and 2 on PS4, but enjoying gaming on PC I jumped at the opportunity to enjoy D2 on PC and while I knew ahead of time that there would be no importing characters across platform I'd like to offer up a simple solution: Just add it as an optional prompt when creating a character. Mass Effect had an decent system in place to help players who had no import data to flesh out a few important events in the story, I can fathom D2 needing more than a check box or a "X/A = Yes, Circle/B = No) prompt. Yes, Destiny has broader problems way beyond nitpicky things like this that need attention and I understand that. Maybe after the September update if we make it that far? I also apologize if this has been addressed somewhere officially, just do the usual and dislike this post and say mean things.
