Yes Artemis is traditionally a female name it's the name of a greek goddess after all, but it can be used for dudes I guess
-
Artemis was an Archer right, goddess of the hunt? You know what, I am going to go look it up and refresh my memory instead of being a lazy bastard, lol.
-
Hunt and moon i think, and sister to apollo. Not one hundred percent on that
-
Yes, she is the twin of Apollo, though the one I am reading says that might be in question, but she is for sure the daughter of Zeus and Leto. I was just reading it, lol. She is also the protector of the girl children and the goddess of animals. Would you believe I used to know all this by heart? I loved studying mythology and other religions. Biggest drawback to getting older, your mind slowly starts to fade, especially when you work a lot and are constantly tired. Also, you wake up in the middle of the night to pee and then are awake, so you play on the forums, lol.

She is also the goddess of childbirth. When she was born, she helped her mother give birth to her brother as well.
-
Gotta love being a good/goddess, lol. Hey Mom, I am out, let me turn around and help pull Apollo out, he is curled up with his teddy!
-
I like myths, not as big a fan of religion itself though
-
I hope this does not offend, but I view every religion as a myth in waiting, lol.
-
Nothing to worry about, i am not religious at all. I just find the stories of certain faiths entertaining
-
Same here. I am reading this urban fantasy series right now that stars Loki and it is crazy. I truly love the series, plus it is Loki, so it is funny. I also love the stories about Coyote. The gods of mischief are the best for mythology reading and for fantasy/urban fantasy.

True I guess
