I don't think they should place the raid lairs into the strike playlist, you aren't looking at all the encounters properly. The vast majority of them requires at least 4 players to accomplish the tasks. How are you going to do Argos bombs and control adds in a fast enough manner? How are you going to DPS these bosses when they are scaled to 6 players? Answer for the vast majority of players, you won't/ You are forgetting the DPS checks.
Now instead what they should do is consider something akin to what FFXIV does to teach players the basics of raid encounters. In FFXIV there things called Trials and Extreme Trials. Now this isn't anywhere close to Trials of the Nine. It is an instanced fight with one raid-like boss with its own mechanics, DPS checks, add control, etc. The thing is the boss is scaled much less punishing with deaths than what raid bosses are. You can usually afford 3 deaths or so in a standard Trials boss at minimum gear requirements, while raid bosses can only allow one death.

Its based off of a 3 player raid. Doing it with the 6 man raid wouldn't do squat.

There are recruitment things but they all say you have to have expireience and if it's your first time you just never get into one ever

Negative. You don't play FFXIV so you wouldn't know. There is an in-game LFG post system that you can set up for what activity you want to do and what experience you are. There are 3 types of groups you can set up. 1) Practice- Means fresh or working towards enrage of the fight to see all the mechanics. 2) Complete- Means you are putting together a group to get your first clears of the activity, you are past the practice phase and into the completion phase. 3) Loot/Farm - Means everyone in the group has cleared the content, only players that have done so may join the party. What we need is a proper in game system just like FFXIV. Its simple and fairly well regulated. Sure you have from time to time the trolls that want to waste players who are trying to complete the activities for the first time but for the most part its solid. Not only that the game has a built in bonus system where if you help some clear content for the first time you get a bonus amount of currency used for gear.

Yes, in fact right now it looks like next raid tier in 2 months or so will be focused on FFVII bosses. Most likely we are looking at Ruby weapon, Jenova, and Sephiroth as the raid bosses. Currently the raid tier is focusing on FFVI, Phantom Train, Chadarnook, Guardian (screw this guy :{) and Kefka/God Kefka.
