Please.. No more team based objectives.. people lack the intelligence, overlook key-tactics, and don't understand objective based modes.
Control is a NIGHTMARE!!

Well, because nobody cares about winning a PvP match. I know I don't.

Edited by InfernalArdere: 4/21/2018 4:51:46 AMThese arguments only ever seem to arise when Iron Banner comes along. Throughout D1 and now D2’s past, I’ve seen numerous threads pop up the week IB is out complaining about things such as bad team mates and op weapons. After IB ends, threads like this disappear until the next event. The issue is obviously that non pvp players are doing IB that week, since it’s a limited time event and they want the gear. So yes, you will get frustrated being on their team since they suck, and they will get frustrated when they die over and over to weapons they consider “too strong”, even though they themselves are probably using the worst class set up ever and running around solo with a blue ar. It’s just the nature of the beast. Nothing can be done about it unless there is pvp only gear, which probably will never happen. Only thing you can do is deal with it if you play solo and hope the next match isn’t full of noobs, or play with friends, which, I know, is surprisingly harder to do than it sounds.

Edited by Sturm with no Drang: 4/21/2018 1:56:52 AMThe biggest problem that I’ve had, out of everything else is the occasional moment where I die and respawn back at, say our starting respawn point at either A or C if we capped B. Then, as I am about to rush back over to my teammates, while still at the respawn point btw, multiple members for the enemy team will be at my doorstep and gun me down before I can even try to run away. Seriously, what is up with the -blam!-mothering respawn points? You’re gonna let me respawn at a place where the enemies are literally just walking up casually and ready to spawnkill? -blam!- that. The respawn point system needs more work. Respawn Shields are nice and all, but the moment they go down there will be not one, not 2, BUT THREE FRIGGIN VIGILANCE WINGS pointed staight at me like a scene straight out of Predator. I might as well be swallowing the -blam!-ing barrel at that point and let them have the free capture. To summarize, Crucible(in general) is still just as bad if not worse than it was back in D1. Swiggity swesticle, tired of this shitfesticle. :/

But c'mon. Pulling into a 30-40 point lead at the beginning of the game, just for your team to NOT capture points and eventually lose? It's sooooo much fun.
-
At least more people understand it than understand the Taken public events. God help my controller EVERY TIME I have to run one of those and some pleb is shooting the small blights. Trying to get the flash point here, buddy. Stop making me have to do 3 more public events...
-
And for the love of god, dont cap A on Shores of Time

i think its more a case of people who just want team deathmatch and nothing else, rather than lacking the intelligence. also, there is no communication so a bunch of randoms is guessing what their team is doing. i never knew when to stay and try and defend, and when to join the attack to take another zone. because i never know what anyone else is doing. team pvp needs a set team - players who always play together - or a comms system and designated leader who knows what to tell others to do. and the team leader comms is no go because some people only want to attack, not defend (im more inclined to defend but i know im a minority from playing battlefront). those attacker minded wont defend if told to.

As much as I prefer objective games over a standard TDM, I find myself regretting my decision to play Control sometimes instantly when my teammates treat the match as if it were TDM. If not for the fun factor I get from it I would never play again. Also depending on my mood, I welcome the extra challenge of being teamed up the Objective Challenged Players (O.C.P.)
-
Its not hard. All you have to do is control 2 zones and protect them. Don't run off trying to be Rambo against a team of 6 your not gona win
-
So you just expected the smart players to still be here? Um......
-
Everyone is jamming their chest ornament kills 😉😋
-
It can't be as bad as my experience trying to solo queue for Crimson Days. I got to the point in one match of just dancing until the other guys got me. The only match out of 5 that I won was the one where the randy stuck with me, and he had 1 kill to my 30. (Not my actual number but I'm not looking it up)
-
After you capture a zone a word appears at the top of the flag. Says ‘DEFEND’.....
-
I've found you just have to go with the flow. If I try to actually hold an objective once we have 2 zones, I'll get completely slaughtered by the other team because my entire team will be running off somewhere doing God knows what. It becomes just a rotating circle of a couple players actually capturing, and the rest in the middle playing clash.
-
My teams are losing 100 percent of 80 percent of the games 74 percent of the time...Control the points people!
-
I'm a solo/micless player & have no problems playing control seem to win more than lose!
-
unless you play with people you know there is no such thing as TEAM in any shooter. Random= 1. player forced into pvp for quest or other stuff. 2. player only worried about THEIR k/d and nothing more. 3. solo player until bungie creates better pvp matchmaking with a TEAM filter(only fireteams allowed)then team based activities won't be TEAM based activities
-
Being as aggressive as possible has won me every game I’ve played
-
We just need Iron Banner Supremacy
-
Lol tell me about it
-
Just stop ✋
-
I agree. This game is way too advanced for the hunter community.
-
Smart players are too Smart to play D2
-
The games for 12 year olds,im still pissed off,the games for squeekers and pre pubescent male k.d fanatics, that talk about trials but cant complete a raid.
-
It's what happens when you have kids that grew up with kill montages

Edited by ScrubLord199901: 4/21/2018 11:33:59 PMAfter a certain point in time, nobody gives a dam. That's what happens when you condense all game modes into one playlist. But yeah I agree that in iron banana ppl need to play the dang objective. Ugh it's irritating.
