Edited by Rei: 4/20/2018 7:15:23 AMEven if you didn't care for Armsday, you have to admit that it was another feature that was removed without reason
-
What is arms day?
-
Hell yes
-
Can’t miss something I still take part of in D1, lol. On a serious note, while enjoyable, with static rolls there really is no point in armsday. Which is just another missed opportunity.
-
some of my best d1 weapons came from arms day i also enjoyed testing the gunsmith weapons, getting gunsmith rep and faction rewards from him, and then the occasional unique / exotic weapon missons WHY remove all that?
-
Arms day, weekly crucible and heroic strike bounties were a powerful reason to play considering gear in d1 had random stats to min/max.
-
Some of my most beloved weapons came from that. 100% miss it.
-
Definitely miss Banshee running Arms Day and his affiliation with re-rolling weapons. Bring this back!
-
Edited by KayOsS882: 4/20/2018 8:45:09 PMUsually I don’t skip Arms day. I try to split my workout evenly, Legs day, Chest days, Arms day, and buttock day.
-
Never. But this is a good reminder for me to hit leg day tomorrow. Thanks!
-
Miss arms day, miss bounty resets, miss daily heroic reset, miss Xur maybe having something I needed after two months of playing, Miss checking what sparrows or ships I hadn’t collected, Miss checking shaders and emblems I hadn’t gotten yet, Miss sparrows having a second boost, horns and tricks and Miss dead ghosts and grimoire score.
-
Arms day only worked for random rolls. There is no point having an arms day if all you get is a better devils.
-
I never got into that. I usually find the guns I like early on and just use them until something really better comes along. It often doesn't and I mostly wind up using just about the same equipment for the whole year (guns and armor).
-
Nobody misses arms day. We miss random rolls. The guns were always ugly and stale. We only wanted the perks. Don't get it twisted. We miss RANDOM ROLLS.
-
The weird part, they forgot so many lessons they learned. Arms day made it feel like a living world. It also gave people a reason to log in. Why they would end things like this is beyond me.
-
I haven’t missed that since maybe a quarter of the way through D1, honestly.
-
Yes it used to be something that most people would go on about because the weapons were interesting & not reskins
-
Miss what? A reason to log in? Something to work for? Possible good gear? Nope! Who would like any of that
-
I do arms day every week still. Received a tueonela last week with solid pve rolls.
-
theres a lot of things i miss about d1
-
Rendered redundant in D2 due to static rolls, but yes, I miss it
-
Not really they nerfed all the good stuff
-
Nah every day is ARMS day as far as I’m concerned
-
You know it would have been great if they had just totally switched out the weapons every two or three months
-
Arms day was a huge hit. Just more reason that makes bungie’s decision to scrap random rolls incomprehensible to me.
-
Just bring the factions back. Well, more than once a month or whatever the schedule for it is.
