Phenomenal idea, I made something to that effort back in D1. They could have created a huge dogfight mission when the queen raided the dreadnought. We could have then crash landed with Uldren somewhere, forcing us to work together and work to build a stealth drive after taking over a ship. Why not a dogfight to approach and board the Leviathan? Send a couple royal cabal ships to stop us from doing what we do. There are many, many opportunities for this. Weapons and whatnot, I agree with. Doing missions, grinding for ship parts, etc. Would be awesome! Ships with skill trees, too? Randomly rolled? Roll: Thruster x3 options | Shield (+Def) or Weapon (+DPS) | Hull x3 options | Wildcard Exploration / "Patrolling" the Solar System would be incredible. Yes, please reuse planets from D1. Heck, reuse some locations! It makes sense, all the same universe.. I wanna go into the middle of Mars and find some long forgotten vex gate, or even a large cabal compound. Pick a spot on Venus and delve into uncharted Jungles. This would be a revolutionary feature to the game. Why not have Crucible dog fights, while we're at it? We need some fun in this game and this would be a good way to do it.

  • Crucible dogfights?!?! AMAZING IDEA! Would be a pain for Holliday to deal with, but... custom cannons, ship tiers, booster colors, speed vs durability, stealth, shields, missiles. So many possibilities, for Amanda to be a SRL vendor AND a jumpship combat vendor. This whole thing is making me think of Star Conflict.

  • It would definitely be better than what she's doing now (Nothing). Hey, why stop there with her, though? She could whip up some new combat vehicles for land, too. Sparrows would be for a swift scouting expedition and higher tiers would have cannons, higher armor, slower movement because of the DPS and Armor. Of course, with each tier you go up, the rate at which you can summon that vehicle increases when destroyed. Keeps it balanced, so you're not spamming OP Vehicles.

  • I know right?! And I've noticed that. I am going to acknowledge that in an edit. And fix it. Also, that's a great idea! I think random rolls and skill trees would be amazing! And I would love to see more space in a game where we travel through space.

  • You could definitely expand into land vehicles. Perhaps we could stop in a planets orbit and head to the vehicle bay? Our ships are big, but I think they'd only be big enough for one land transport. In the bay, you could undergo customizing the vehicle, fitting it with boosters, trails -- you name it.   • That is a great idea! These would all be ways to bring back the grind or at least make the game more interesting! Because while all the problems with the base game do need to attended to, it would be nice to have things like this to mess around with. They could also add in vehicles PvP where there is like 50 v 50 and you can go in the sky or one the ground fighting. My overall point is that Bungie should look to the community when they are running low on ideas. Because half of the time the community has some of the greatest ideas! And I love your ideas, if you would like to collaborate or something send me a message!

  • Hey thanks for the support! I should show you the custom raid idea I designed as well as theoretical weapon system improvements. A note for the 50 v 50: While that'd be intense as all get out, I think Bungie should take a page from Halo 5's warzone playlist. To have Guardians undergo something like this would be pretty amazing. Huge maps for PvP, (8v8?) then a "horde mode" that would be 16 Guardians against some pretty high tier enemies, with a large boss at the end. Maybe name it the "Invasion Playlist"? Sky's the limit, here. I do agree that more focus should be placed on us Guardians. Have community gatherings where people just hash out some wicked ideas like we're doing now. It'd be direct communication with Devs, they'd be taking notes and talking with us. Maybe host a "Dev Day" every quater of the month so there's no way for dry spells like this. Also, I'd be happy to collaborate! Bouncing ideas and improvements around are what the community need, rather than throwing poison and salt around. Stating a problem and having a reasonable resolution is a must. If I don't reach out in a message anytime soon, don't feel offended, I'm pretty busy, so don't hesitate on shooting me a message anytime!

  • That’s completely fine! And that is a absolutely amazing idea! They should also have a #Solutions as well. So us community creators can look at each other’s ideas and stuff! And your Dev Day idea is AMAZING they should start a stream that has some Bungie employees talk to some of the top creators in the community and get ideas. And that horde mode has been thrown around a lot. I think they could do something like Warzone Firefight from Halo as a secondary mode. So you not only need to worry about the enemies but players too! Or you know maybe a 12v12 or 8v8 on a huge map for my vehicles PvP idea. I am also trying to get a collab going with Archival Mind, the brain behind a strike idea (forgot the name at the moment) so we may be able to all do this together!

  • Oh yeah! I've read Archivial's thread about that strike. It was awesome! It'd be neat to work with the both of you guys. Archivial had recently posted his Ultrapost about "The Darkness Fleet". It re-inspired me to get back into creating ideas and improvements for the game.
