I can't answer for Bungie (I'm just a volunteer moderator) as to the game itself. But advertisements for paid carries/recoveries, and all other forms of solicitation, are prohibited on the forums. We remove these threads whenever we see them and encourage you to report them when you see them.

Its not so much a problem on THIS forum as much as it is on ftw and other 3rd paty lfg sites. You cant stop them and paid carries/recoveries are going to happen regardless, more so now bcuz of redrix's claymore just learn to accept it and do your best. After all that is ALL you can really do.

Why does your company lock some of the best gear behind competitive crucible activities? I'm already seeing internet advertisements for paid glory ranking carries. I honestly can't think of another game in which paid carries havd been so prominent. In my humble opinion, this garbage all began with the launch of Trials of Osiris. I don't like this. The spirit of this community is dying. All anyone seems to care about is showing off epeen. I would happily carry/teach/guide/whatever, any guardian through a raid or a nightfall for FREE. Screw Twitch. Screw YouTube. Screw paid account recoveries. These are all examples of toxic people exploiting naive people out of their hard earned cash. This is NOT the true spirit of gaming, nor Destiny for that matter. Please recapture Destiny's glory days where PVE was the primary focus. Where teamwork and a benevolent community stood together as one to help each other through the most challenging content.

Some people are going to be better, thats just how the world is. If people feel they have a need then there will be people to fullfil that need(CAPITALISM AT ITS BEST). Everyone wants that gun. The best will get it with ease and it will be a real struggle and grind for the rest of us. My advice is stop complaining about and find a team and grind it out.

It's all over streams. Is one monitor them? Because of the whole name and shame thing, people are getting away with many things seen as taboo.
