Today is the release of the third campaign for a game called Raiders of the Broken Planet, a third person PvPvE character-based shooter with brawling and stealth elements. A game I love that’s probably better known to people as a bad game.
I can kind of see where they’re coming from. The game is for some reason advertised as F2P despite being more of an episodic (where you can buy the individual episodes for $10, with one on sale right now for just $1 or so). The tutorial is crap. The economy was also horrendous.
Now it’s my Birthday, and the game has revamped most of it’s systems. My early impressions are that it’s taking a step in the right direction to being a game that I could recommend to others. As a matter of fact, I’ve decided to make this thread to ask for people to give this game a chance sometime. Just make sure you read that quick guide next to the options button before you try and get into the thick of cooperative.
Included in this thread is a video doing a more detailed retrospective of this game, explaining the good and the bad.

Don’t remember, was this one on consoles, or PC? From everything I’ve heard about it, it sounds fun, and I’m assuming the first episode is free, like most episodic games I’ve seen? P.s. Happy birthday!
