Who cares about the new Nightfall rewards
Bungie can you stop hyping Nightfall rewards because all they'll be is yet more disappointment to the core players of the destiny series, I call it will be some rubbish perk reskined armour/guns that we will just vault and forget about them or better yet more (rare) emblems.

Idk personally I'm pretty optimistic these unique Nightfall rewards will actually be some of the most unique looking gear in the game. In terms of how good they'll be...I can only hope they'll be worth getting. They might have specific perks or mods (like the raid mods) that help you during the strikes you get them from.
