Masterwork Weapons and Armor

What kinds of things would you like for them to explore with masterwork weapons and armor?

  • For weapons, the Masterworks should either A) be random perks rather than meager stat increases, or B) include a weapon XP leveling system that increases that weapon's stat over time instead of keeping it as a measily +5. As for Armor, well, somewhat big list: Instead of a weak increase to damage resistance during your Super, why not have a different Masterwork effect for each piece of armor? Helmet: Picking up Orbs of Light grants Melee and Grenade energy, or heals you. Gauntlets: Increased Throw Distance and Melee Speed, or Grenade and Melee kills have a chance to produce Orbs of Light Chest Armor: 15-20% Damage Resistance increase during Super Leg Armor: A) Increased sprint and movement speed for about 8-12 seconds after respawning, B) increased sprint movement speed while your Super is active, or C) increased movement and sprint speed on double kills with Arc/Solar/Void damage Class Item: A) Reduced incoming damage from Solar/Void/Arc* attacks, B) Increased Recovery when taking Solar/Void/Arc* damage, or C) your Super does more damage. *will be random/rerollable on Masterworks
