For Honor went from peer-to-peer to dedicated servers, so can Destiny

From IGN:
After the scheduled March 6 maintenance concludes, For Honor console players around the world can play on dedicated servers. The transition to dedicated server infrastructure for the game is aimed at improving matchmaking and overall stability across all PvP modes.
I'm hoping this will give Bungie an idea of how to save Crucible. • Dedicated servers would be a pretty expensive move for bungie, and on top of that, while they would be nice, wouldn't solve any problems. Lag in destiny 2 isn't as bad as in destiny 1. It has been pretty normal as compared to other peer based games I've played. Would you rather them waste time on a not as important issue such as ded-servers? Or would you rather them focus on repairing a struggling game whose problems boil down to actual game play design?
