DLC expectation changes
Just curious to see how other people's lists would compare against the one I made up:
DLC expectations:
#1. At least... why not... 15-20 missions. Maybe 5 of those also have a quest or two for unique weapons, possibly exotics, and with each "quest" completed as it pertained to it? You could be "rated" for a better overall version (masterworked, normal, ect.)
#2. Coordination between previous content and future content as it pertains to Lore. This means scanables, weapon types, and backstory would need to be intertwined basically.
#3. Cosmetic modifications to social spaces. We constantly have the same overall thing except for special events. Modify the tower for example or outfit the farm to be able to do more things. ALL of the stalls are empty which used to house Shaxx and other NPC's. Give them quests, gear, and equipment too. Change the Tower to reflect progress that we don't want the Red Legion able to get back in like they did.
#4. 3 months of content is a long time without new activities.
Crucible, while I'm not a fan, needs more options. Whether it is more fun, more expansive, ect.. People need to be able to sign in and enjoy what they see and go through. It's what MMO's do really well, it's what shooters like Halo did really well (my opinion on Halo), and it's what makes gamers from all corners enjoy their time.
These four things are what I think would make each DLC more pleasant and start resolving those pesky issues people are talking about.
What's your list? short and sweet or numbered is all fine.

2 RepliesMight as well come to grips with the fact that the May DLC will be just like the CoO since they were completed at the same time and we ALL know Bungie cannot make or change content quickly. This franchise has no real chance at 'redemption' until September 2018..... and it is a small chance at that. Nothing will drastically change because the Destiny 2 developers STILL have the belief that [b]their[/b] "vision" of D2 is the only valid vision. Destiny 2 is quickly becoming ME:A.

If there isn't more repeatable content in the 2nd DLC than in the current game combined, I'll be looking for a new franchise. My 4 years "journey" (D1 Beta player) with Destiny will come to an end and Bungie will get no more of my money - ever.

Your list looks good, but I would add: 1. Increase vault size to 300-400!!! Why this hasn't already been done is just comical. 2. Give us a search feature for the vault and better sorting so I can have classes or armor and weapons listed separately. 3. Give us the (really, really bad word) ability to delete directly from the vault!!!! All my guardians are full and my vault is as well. Right now its impossible to do anything even from the mobile app. You say this is a loot based MMO, well prove it, as right now its not. I've played the events and now have armor sets for each guardian. I also have the majority of all the weapons with most having all elemental versions. Unless you want me to start destroying what I played for then INCREASE THE VAULT SIZE. 4. We need NEW enemies ASAP, hell, and maybe some new planets to fight on. 5. I know its too late and you all don't know how to do it, but how about some NEW and engaging story. Don't even know why I asked for that with the way Bungie F'd up D2's story. 6. I want the NF's back to the way they were in D1. I'm sick of the timer and having to earn over 60k in x amount of time or I get nothing. I'm tired of the artificial "making the AI stronger" bit just to make it near impossible to finish. It's NOT fun right now. D1 was fun. D2 is a heaping pile right now as it relates to the NF. Fix it. 7. Let's have a live stream where you explain how you destroyed one of the best games I've ever played. That's all, I'm too pissed right now.

Edited by BERSEKAEL: 3/4/2018 4:16:42 PMrealistic expectations: -reskins stuf -d1 items recycled -more emblems -more shaders -more auras -sandbox retuned -some other unexpected existing stuf nerfed to oblivion -1 or 2 missions recycled and modified -same for strikes -maybe another D1 pvp map recycled -pvp 6v6 and rumble added back -titan skating added back (...so most stuff is added back, they were never supposed to take it out of the game on the first place. and NO, we still wont have endgame content and motivation to grind, but atleast quality of life is less flat.) add idiots dancing in the tower MOTW and you have the next TWAB before the DLC

To be honest the “roadmap” they gave is all they are capable of and even then they push things back There’s no chance Bungie will implement anything of actual worth into D2
