How many ppl think <thanks for your feedback!> is condescending when nothing is being done?

They are cherrypicking the easy dilemmas to respond to, while blatantly ignoring the more pressing issues. How many times has the following been posted with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING as a response from Bungie? -Random rolls -Weapon Loadout system -Server Lag -Separation of PVE/PVE -Locked Skill Trees -Empty patrol “worlds” with nothing to do, no reason to explore -Lack of horde modes -Terrible Live Events -Eververse taking over game -Inability to select PVP mode -Slow TTK in PvP that promotes teamshooting and dramatically lowers skill gap A sequel is supposed to build on its predecessor, not neuter the original and take everything away only to replace it with inferior systems across the board. Why is this not being addressed or talked about in any way? The truth is, some gamers don't want to admit that Bungie can not handle this game let alone Activisions contract even with 2 other studios. This sequel was a pushed out unfinished product because of the higher ups. I don't blame the devs that actually do their job. It's the stupid calls that the higher ups have been making for this game like scrapping D2 and starting over. Not actually listening to there player base and using timed events that are removed to fill in that void missing content. No one wanted this game. What was asked for and what was offered are 2 totally different things. IMO this game should of picked up off from ROI. Meaning working from the existing content that actually worked for this game. (What part does the higher ups not understand, If it ins't broken don't fix it?) Well, for some dumb reason the higher ups got this idea in their head they can fix things knowing all they have been doing is making this game 10 times worse then this game has ever been. Why don't you gamers look at the 2 wish list that say "we asked for this" tell me how "Everyone" asked for this huge mess Bungie offered? https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/217475644?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1 Edit:Then some gamers go on saying "Bungie is trying to fix the issues in this game" I'm sorry, adding trinkets to a micro times event trying to cover up Dawning is Not fixing issues that actually need attention or adding actual content to the game. It's here you go, look at the shiny things we offered so you don't pay attention to what we should actually be focusing on but will get to when we feel like it. Between both wish list that has over a (hundred thousand replies) with a lot of positive feedback, great ideas etc, that could have improved this game and actually moved it forward. Tell me how Bungie "was listening" to the community other then using the small petty things for this game. Hmm, why was it removed. Can it be that this company actually ignored the legit feedback for the last 3 years? I don't care what anyone says about me, call me whatever you want. Stupid little word don't bother me like many have attempted on this forum to use that don't like me pointing out the truth. Any company that has respect for themselves and the player base wouldn't have pulled the crap Bungie did with D2, and on top of it wouldn't have continued to keep pulling cheap tactics after being caught. Logic at it's best when it comes to Bungie. There is no excuse for this game to be where it is with a billion dollar franchise with 2 other studios working with this company. The funny thing about it. Bungie is right back to square 1, (11 years later after working on this game that long.) Is this a joke? I thought this was a AAA gaming company making a game for the gamers, but the truth is, it's not. And it's not the same the company that made Halo without Micro.

    • How many years now have people been asking for a true horde mode? It's got to be at least since HoW. At what point do you think Bungie is actually going to listen and say, "huh, people might be incentivized to play the game if we put a gamemode they've been asking for into the game instead another iteration of an arena mode?" Stuff like that is what really gets under my skin. People been hootin and hollerin for the separation of PvE and PvP since before TDB, and they've actively refused on that front, yet it's continuing to create problems. It's become abundantly clear that Bungie will only act on player feedback when it coincides with how they think their game should be and with what they think players will actually enjoy, regardless of whether or not players actually do enjoy it.

    • No surprise at all. This is how things have been done since D1 day one. With the exception of nerfs. Bungie is Johnny on the spot to wreck a class, weapon, ability. I’m talking wrecking ball class.

      • People just have to stop hoping this game will be fixed. It won't. There are too many things to do to justify the investment from Bungie. It is what it is, a crappy game. Marginal improvements to a crappy game will still make it a crappy game. I get it. You want it to be better. Almost all of us do. It just won't happen.

      • I don't look at it that way. Are there lots of problems? Absolutely, but fixing these issues (Most of which should have never happened) is not as simple as some imagine. I am not an apologist but rather a realist. First there is the coding, second if we change this what effects might it have on something else? Any of us who have been gaming for a long time, have witnessed a hasty patch that had unintended and often far reaching consequences. Personally, I would rather have the fixes take a bit longer and be done right then rushed and end up being a hot mess. Am I frustrated with some aspects of the game? Yep, but still playing.

Half the things on your list have already been talked about as coming. Some of the things you mention have been hinted at, or will probably be looked at on future dates. And some just aren't going to happen, like separating PvP/PvE and random rolls. I know it's hard to be patient considering how Bungie once again dropped the ball for us and inexplicably left most of D1 on the cutting room floor. I get that, I'm upset too. But they can't just snap their fingers and make all this stuff happen yesterday. It's going to take a little time, we'll be getting these changes in drips, we need to stay patient or just leave and come back later when you hear that things may have changed to your liking.

        • Well I think you already answered your question. It hasn't been addressed because that would mean admitting that the infallible Luke Smith, actually fuk'd up so bad the game has to be recalled and rebooted for a third time. Why would they ever own up to that when they can just keep appeasing the roughly 400k left with shiney and pretty things? It sucks that they will never address these issues for d2. If on the smallest chance that they do, don't expect it until a year before d3 launch.

            • Currently there is a spawn-in glitch in the Leviathan that causes players to have to orbit and return every time we wipe. WHY that has not been fixed is beyond me.... Currently there is the black screen when trying to visit the tower.... WHY that has not been fixed??? It seems if its a glitch that benefits the players, it becomes priority one, but if it hinders the players, it gets ignored.

              • They gave us D2 and that is all. There has been NO noticeable change to anything, weapons are still grey, armour is still grey, nothing stands out, no extra puzzles, areas, types of play or new ideas. All of their changes have been minute. It is obviously their intention to do as little as possible for as long as possible. THE LESS EFFORT THEY PUT IN , the more money they make... simple. Meanwhile they will be developing something else.

                • Destiny 2 CANNOT be saved. The game we want is not D2. If they turn everything around, they could as well just stop fixing D2 and work on a new Destiny that is close to the original. And call it something else. If they implemet all the changes to D2, the final product will have 0 to do with the original game called „Destiny 2“. Destiny 2 is a complete disaster.

Again, not Feedback. This is a question to the community, not Feedback for Bungie. Bungie has set it's Ninjas on a mission to silence the community. It's time we got even louder. We should all be screaming at the top of our lungs to get Bungie to stop moving our posts to the less visited "Feedback" section, when the things we are saying are not Feedback. It's time for another revolt! As for your comment, all true. If Bungie gave us everything you outlined there, we would have been happy. FFS, if they would have just given us everything that Destiny 1 had with a new story and location, we would have been Ecstatic! If they made it just a little bit better, we would have been Elated! But no, they took 20 steps backward, and gave us a game that didn't even get close to it's predecessor. Then, they decided to do "f all" to fix it. The worlds greatest developer is now among the absolute worst.

                    • You're making an assumption that nothing is being done, which is not the case. If you've been paying attention there are many changes in the works that will address many of the concerns that have been and still are being talked about.

I think when there is between 300k to 500k players daily.... it doesnt matter much anymore. And the extreme delays in fixing this wont matter much either.

                      • They don’t care that this game is a dumpster fire. Really, they don’t. They may say they do, and I’m sure some of the devs who worked very hard on it do as well, but the upper management and powers that be at both Bungie and Activision don’t give two flying effs that this game is utter trash. They’ve already made a tonnnnn of money. Keep holding out hope that the little droplets of “improvements” are gonna actually change anything significantly. Because sadly it isn’t.

                        • If 100 people tell you that you are wrong, but one person tells you that you are right, that one person will have your ear. As it stands, Bungie has absolutely zero choice as a company but to move forward with what they have now despite their awful PR. They are clinging to the minority who enjoy Destiny and ignore real criticisms because that mean admitting that everything about Destiny 2 from the ground up was a mistake and they severely misjudged what their player base wanted. That is basically millions of dollars of waste. If this were not the real world and money were not in the equation, they would have to issue an apology and go back to square one with Destiny 2 while releasing small updates for D1 to tide its player base over...but that will never happen in the real world.
