This isn’t Luke’s fault, at least in my eyes. He was in charge of VoG, and Taken King. Both were great. This guy has 1000s of hours in D1, one of the highest numbers. Mark Noseworthy on the other hand, hasn’t. I’m of the opinion Bungie wanted to create a game THEY liked and THEY wanted to play. You’re just here for the ride.

He was involved on 2 of the raids many consider to be some of the best parts of the Destiny franchise. The man has some talent. While I may not like the new direction of Destiny, it's a little hard to blindly hate the dude when I look back on some of my fond Destiny memories and realize he helped develop the platform for those memories to be made.

I have a difficult time in understanding how this thread is in any way productive or constructive. It seems to really just be making fun of Luke Smith. We're all human and we all make mistakes. Stop bashing on specific individuals, especially when we weren't there for the meetings and behind closed doors so we really don't know if "he" is the one to blame for "X" or "Y". Smith is very talented. It was a group decision on behalf of Bng to make it this way for the sake of their own sanity. It is what it is. Shut up and play it, or dont.

If I were Luke smith, is I'd be like, "okay boss, have a good weekend, I'm gonna stay late tonight,don't worry, I'll shut off all the lights and lock up before I go" I would then sign into the main control center, proceed to ban all of you from playing destiny 2..(don't lie, you play) and then proceed to permaban all of you from these forums. Still wondering why he hasn't yet.....,

Lemme splane some 2 u. During TTK D2 was in development. The lead of D2 left or got fired and everything was scrapped for whatever reason. Maybe he (and a few other lead who are unfortunately still on the D2 team) had no idea wtf he was doing. When the first lead left, Luke took charge and If any one could remember d2 was meant to release in 2016, but due to the reboot it was pushed back. [b]WE DONT KNOW WHAT THE ORIGINAL CUT FOR D2 WAS GOING TO BE.[/b] Reboot=push back. Push back=16 months to work on a full game. What developer do you know can do that? Sure they had outside help, but still, 16 months? Come on people. Use that brain. Is the game fun for me, and am I still playing it? No, and once this week for an emote. Do I think the game can get better?....🤔yeah? Maybe. Do I think we should bitch about the game not being what it should be....still.... every single day? No. Move on like the rest of us. Bungie knows by now that some of these new addition are trash. 4v4, weapons system, raid revives, trash. There is absolutely no reason to keep saying the game sucks. The number of players not playing shows how bad things are. I keep saying this, but "all we can do is wait for the fall". Until then, play other games, get a jobs..gaww Edit: and we dont know if the state of D2 is on Luke. He is not the only lead, and he does not have final say on every aspect of the game. Lets. research before jumping to conclusions. Edit: The fall Dlc will make or break the Destiny franchise. I can say that. Players who are gone won't come back, and bungie could lose the people who are playing. Let's give them room to fail or succeed. Let them do it in peace. Don't get too quiet, tell them what made destiny work.
