I agree with you definitely need more vault space!
I dont hord one type of weapon or piece of gear but rather try to have complete guardian class sets or weapons that were only available at certain times.
In my regards to the highlighted 50 plus slots to increasing the vault space is a joke! It should be more like 1 slot for every available piece of gear an weapon.
So as an example if Destiny has a total of 500 total items thruout the game I should have 500 slots in my vault, one slot for every item that can be earned.

Inventory should at least equal the total number of possible items for all classes (all weapons, all armor, all ships, all ghosts, all mods, all shaders, etc...). So much of my gameplay loop at this point is trying to figure out ways to keep all the items I have spent time earning and collecting, which is just bad design. The planned increase of 50 spaces is a joke... And in terms of technical speak, the UI's (and it appears the back-end system) for all inventory items are already paged, so the change should literally come down to just increasing some numbers... For a much better gameplay experience. Which for some reason takes months? (@Bungie, If I am wrong, please correct and explain why...)
