I had zero issues with FPS/stuttering when previously playing, but my SSD failed, I got a new one (Samsung 850 Evo, should be higher performance than my previous one) and did a fresh install of Windows/Battle.net/Destiny 2 and now I'm getting annoying stuttering/frame drops.
There was no game update in between or anything like that and I believe I've set everything up to be the same as before or lower visual settings. Lowering visual settings doesn't seem to help.
Any ideas?

Edit: I have a possible fix. In the Nvidia control panel, I set maximum pre-rendered frames to 1 and it seems to have fixed it. Not sure yet, I'm continuing to play to try it out.
Edit 2: That decreased the slowdowns, but not entirely. As part of troubleshooting, I had tried checking "disable fullscreen optimizations" and "override DPI scaling behavior" under the compatibility tab of the Destiny 2 .exe. I unchecked those boxes and now my framerate is flawless.
