The Infinite forest.

Now maybe I'm just extremely unlucky or missing something really obvious, but I have yet to be able to find a mission that goes back to the simulant past. The simulant past is by far my most favorite area in destiny so far and it really bums me out that I can go back there. I can go to the simulant future or present whenever just by picking the right mission, but the same can't be said for the past. I feel like all the areas of the infinite forest should be available on patrol without needing to activate a quest. Something as simple as a single starter platform in the forest with three doors that go left, forward, and right for the destination of you chosing. I don't really even care if there's nothing to do while we're there, I just want the ability to openly explore to my heart's content. Exploration is the heart and soul of patrol. Make the infinite forest explorable.

  • You can only go back there for the strike or the adventures or if ikora has a meditation there that week, but yes i agree that was my favourite part about the dlc and of course bungie never do anything right, the patrol area for mercury is tiny and horrible, they could have done soo much better
