Destiny 2 keeps kicking me off Xbox live.

For some reason destiny 2 keeps kicking me offline ever since their last update which was the patch and I don't know why. Every game I play I'm okay and connected but once I get on destiny 2 I get kicked off every 20 / 30 minutes and it says that my Nat type is teredo ip can't be found but when I restart my console it's okay and I'm connected. Is this happening to anyone else if so do you know why?? Or does anyone know why ?

  • Hello, Thank you for your report. You may find success by following the steps in our Networking Troubleshooting Guide, as it can resolve many connection issue. However, since this is an Xbox specific error code, you will probably need to reach out to Xbox Support for assistance.

    • Go into your Xbox settings and network settings. Go into advanced settings and write down the everything besides MAC address. Go to www.portforward.com. They will have the list of ports required to be port forwarded through your router. It sounds like those ports for Xbox Live, Destiny, or both are not able to communicate well with each other and/or your IP address on your Xbox keeps changing as the Xbox does refresh with a new IP address unless set to manual. Try this out and see if it helps fellow guardian.

    • First things i would try: 1. Make sure all PC's, laptops, Xbox, NAS etc. are turned off. 2. Reset modem and wait 5 minutes 3. Reset router and wait 5 minutes (if the modem and router are integrated you can skip this step) 4. Turn on only the Xbox and test. The above translates into "turning it off and on again" Only after you know that it works 100% or not you can turn on the other devices, most of the times it is a problem with bad routers that ISP's distribute by default, they often crash a little and need a reboot if there were many connections with for example downloading torrents etc. Also make sure you are only using 1 router!! If you are still having problems try the following test and report here: https://sourceforge.net/speedtest/ Let us know in this forum post.
