I enjoy destiny 2
Ok ok ok before you rip me apart, I have been playing destiny for 3 years since week 2. The week where xur sold ghorn for you new players.
There are a few thing I don’t like, bright engrams, one time shaders, leviathan raid and a few more. But I don’t overly mind the game in its current state, I’m enjoying curse of Osiris.
Edit: is this starting to trend?
Edit again: this community is more toxic than I remember, I’m now getting death threats, just to clarify I’m am by no means a casual player, at the moment I play destiny 2, division, battlefront 2, warframe and ac origins.
Also just to remind you guys this is a video game, it’s not real life so stop taking it so seriously threats over a video game just shows how immature you really are. I’m just trying to spread some positivity in this toxic community.

You obviously didn’t leave the game if your still posting 2. Get your toxic comments off this app. For the people that enjoy the game unlike you Sweaty Try Hard Trolls That want shotguns/snipers in secondary so you can be a try hard in trials and think there the best. And the people who think they suck when they have to buy a exotic emote YOU DON’T SUCK. Sorry try hards that sit here spending 100’s and 100’s Of dollars to get one. We play the game to get bright dust to earn our exotic emote with bright dust. Last thing: EVERYONE THATS A TRY HARD WANTS WEAPONS TO GO BACK TO WHEN YOU HAD TO KEEP JUST ROLLING PERKS TILL YOU GET THE OP SET, YOU HAVE NO SKILL YIJR JUST BASED ON LUCK IF PERKS. BUNGIE MADE IT SO EVERYONE HAS A CHANCE NOW BECAUSE NOW ITS BASED ON SKILL. Bungie you need to stop listening to the Try hards. Your community is more positive then it seems. Remember that.

10 RepliesNo death threats or negative comments from me but i am curious...what do you like about D2? Its hard to find players who stuck with D1 for 3 years that actual like D2. In my opinion, D2 feels like a half baked prequel to D1...but thats just my opinion. Ive also played D2 for ovet 3 years but only stuck with D2 for 3 weeks. Once again, just curious about what you like about the game and what motivates you to play.

I 100% agree with you, almost every thread people throw hate, I’m enjoying the game as well, if you don’t like eververse, don’t buy silver. I know alot of you will start throwing hate, but I don’t give a shit, its my opinion and I like destiny 2.

Yeah, it's a good game, well, PvE is good. I'm just waiting for Borderlands 3 and I'll never play another day of Destiny, not because of the game necessarily, more because of the shit community. The Spring cannot come soon enough, I just hope it isn't delayed again, I can't deal with all the whiny snowflakes for much longer.

For me, in D2, the overall dumbing-down of the game and removal of any meaningful endgame has caused this backlash. I don't agree with a lot of changes made to D2 from a "this is how the game works" point of view - but everything would have been OK of there were meaningful things to do and meaningful stuff to GET. - Heroic Strikes: I know we got these with Osiris DLC - but there needs to be modifiers to make it fun and strike-specific loot to make it, worth doing (past being fun) - Hard mode: raid gear, with raid specific perks, not only color changed. Weapons what were locked into the hard mode, ie the only way to get certain weapon is in the hard mode. - Random weapon roles: or keep the fixed roles and give us a mod system that is not so useless). The new Masterwork system is a start - but there should be better PERKS and attributes for the weapons than just a +10 reload or range perk. - More crucible playmodes: Put in Rumble, Rift, Combined arms, inferno, mayhem - stick all the fun stuff and game modes into its own 3rd playlist - with 6v6. How about private Matches ?? Mayhem is coming with the Dawning but will it remain after ? I think there are solutions to these problems and I hope that Bungie realizes sooner rather than later that there were things at the end of D1 that should have carried over to D2. Things that would have made it a lot more fun. Is D2 a BAD game, NO - but there is so much potential wasted and it should have been so much more. I feel like they are starting to make changes, add things and make some sort of effort to communicate. So we'll see.

3 RepliesUnless you start thinking about how this should be a sequal to Destiny 1, the game itself is not bad. But just think about it. Compare D1 with D2 and then realise that the 2 means its a sequal so it should be the next step. But instead of a step forward, with alot of things we are taking 3-4 steps backwards. Now you understand step 1. Its not that big of a deal to some people. And that brings us to step 2. Now lets think about gaming and life itself. Some people have jobs, family and so on and find those things more important. Others can only think about 1 thing and that is gaming. For them, gaming is life. For them a new week doesnt start on monday but on thuesdays because thats when the weekly reset happens. 24/7 they think about gaming. About past games, current games and new games. When they have to walk away from there consoles for sleep, dinner, toilet breaks or whatever, they can only think about step 1. That just keeps hammering through there heads building up alot of frustration. They come to the forums just unleash that frustration on others. I also like the game for what it is. Ofcourse it could and should have been alot better but it is what it is. I can still hop on and enjoy myself. Ignore the haters and have fun. Thats how it should be.

No one enjoys mmo mechanics in an non mmo game (such as time gating, locking content with dlc etc). No one enjoys playing an online fps rpg that was transformed into a theme park for simpletons.
