Bungie can't please this community no matter WTF they do.
Bungie streamlines the game and removes the grind:

Bungie puts back ONE little grind back into the game to get a few weapons....

Do you not understand what it means to grind for gear on a game? It does not necessarily mean you will get meta gear from it. You are simply grinding ffor the reward...good or bad

bungie serves a dish completely salty.. community : use less salt! Bungie removes the salt completely: Community : FFS use a BIT salt.. Bungie adds a metric ton of salt for a tiny soup. Community: *sigh* Bungie Fanboi: see, nothing pleases this toxic community.. *pfff*

I've a caveat to add to this, the grind for the forge weapons IS too much for for lackluster loot. sure the stuff looks cool, but that's pretty much it. they went too safe for the rolls they used for the Forge weapons, they didn't even bother making niche vex specific perks to go with them

I think he's just pointing out that there should be more options to get the prophecy materials. Grind is good when there is variety, but twhen there isn't any things get monotonous very quickly.

There are already plenty of options. The problem is not having them drop consistently.

Why should there be more options? There's 3, as opposed to D1 when you needed to grind for a material for a weapon/quest there was only 1, maybe 2 things you could do and it would take hours and hours and RNG luck. He just listed 3 options to get 1 material and one of those (pvp) has random game types that keep playing less monotonous. Sick of grinding one activity? Go do another. Getting sick of that one? Still another left to do.

The scout is great,the pulse is a beast and I don't like pulse rifles,the shotgun is the best shotgun in the game right now,and I'm working on the AR right now.

That null calamity rifle is no joke....it has zero recoil a large magazine and decent impact....IMO opinion the best rifle in the game (well actually the second can’t forget Uriel) but it’s really good...this is grind that’s worth it

Depends on how you define that. The SR and PR are solid, workhorse weapons. The hand cannon is one of the best, most accurate energy HCs in the game. The shotgun is reportedly an absolute beast. Full auto, rifled barrel and Rampage.
