Make Light Level Matter In Trials and IB
Bungie please patch Trials and IB to be like D1 Trials and IB.
What is the sense of increasing yoir light level if it only applies to the Raid.
Isnt Destiny both a pve and pvp game??
Light level should matter for Trials and D2 just like it did in D1.
Many times I had seen low light lebel in IB. I habe read the same about Trials.
Make all pvp selections and special events ir Trials and IB make a difference and be there

Yes. Even though I don't like PVP, I grinned IB to hit max light. Please make IB great again, so I can have my @$$ handed to me, and then kick someone else in the @$$ next match.

Just make light matter for everything except quickplay crucible.

I like it, it would screw over those who didn't buy the dlc.

It seems pretty stupid to me to have a contest of skill be determined by what gear each character is wearing. That being said, I don't care one way or the other.

Besides no other MMO which has PvE and PvP in it does this because it makes no sense at all. WoW doesn't do it. FFXIV doesn't do it. BDO doesn't do it. Guild Wars doesn't do it. ESO doesn't do it. No other MMO or even MMO lite follows through with this practice because its a lazy way to deal with their PvP systems. However what do these MMO's do that Destiny doesn't? Random rolls, weapons that actually differ from one another, upgrade systems, skill trees, gear sets with perks, weapons with special perks, etc.

3 RepliesNo because the users gear stat should [b]not[/b] be a factor that helps determine who wins and who loses. The victory should come down to player/character skill and team-work, not who has had more time to level up higher.

1 ReplyPVP need player pool. If you make limitation..less player will join..you will have to wait for a longer time to get a lobby. Not many people buying DLC since majority players are upset with D2 direction and quality. So if you put Light level on IB...players that don't buy DLC will not play. Why play if you just become toy in the fight? it totally not fun ..

They won't implement this due to having "seasons." If people can't grind to reach max light then lots of players miss out on exclusive armor due to not having enough time to play the game. Less people would play IB. At least in D1 you had enough time and the gear stayed the same for a longer period of time.

won't happen since those outcries of we want to play the stuff we didn't pay for took effect. since it will be open to all level can never be taken into consideration again.........

You realize the end result is just less people playing these events for less time right? If I am at a significant disadvantage it won't be fun so why should I play better to just wait. One of my characters low on light? Welp won't play him this ib so I'm only using 2 characters of time.

2 RepliesSeeing that Bungie just had to back peddle and let everybody play Trials and Iron Banner even those who hadn't bought CoO. I think they will implement power level. They will say "we've listened to our community" but in reality it's just a ploy to force everybody to buy the newest DLC.

They can't now. Since they removed DLC purchase requirements for nearly the entire game again because they once again screwed up which seems to be their new business strategy they can't make light level matter because you don't have to have DLC to play but you do have to have DLC to obtain the ultimate light levels. So we have a 335 light ceiling and it doesn't mean a damn thing.

Trials yes. IB - no. It's like Quickplay, 'for fun only', I like watching low light players running around IB sometimes trashing the higher level players. It would be nice if they didn't match a team of 4 randoms against a clan though.
