When I hover over a crucible game mode it says "Access Restricted" which to my understanding means I'm banned?
I was off for around a day or 2 and came back to not being able to use any trials gear which happens to be my most high power gear. When I went to look at crucible it says I can't play... I can do Vanguard activities and equip normal crucible gear but nothing from Trials of the Nine. This kinda sucks a lot since I do carries over the weekends in Trials and don't want to be cut off from my call to arms rewards. Is this a glitch or did I actually get banned from crucible? If I was banned can someone look into it to tell me why and if it can be lifted?

Bungie doesn't discuss bans or restrictions. You have to wait it out.

If you’re able to play PVE activities then you’re not banned, just temporarily restricted. Bungie’s policy is they won’t discuss bans and restrictions. So if you’re restricted all you can do is wait for it to go away. Typically restrictions are two weeks from Crucible and two months from Trials. However, they can las much longer depending on what the infraction was, which unfortunately they won’t tell you.
